Pretty much all the starter helis are quite unusable. If you want better helis use tanks to research them
Well atleast 6 out of the 10 nations in the game have ATGM´s for their starter helis
and 2 out of the 4 that dont atleast got an 2cm gatling gun i dont own them so i cant
say for sure but id guess you can atleast delete lightly armored vehicles like the PzH2000
with them and the 2 nations remaining have neither of those which are Japan and Italy but
atleast for Japan you have 76 mighty mouse rockets while Italy just got 14 granted the Italian
one gets 2 cool looking 7.62 miniguns but i dont know what the purpose behind those are except
like to try to shoot at planes that want to strave you or to sneak up to other helis.
And besides that the Italian one has the same BR as the Swedish and Japanese one.
Yeah they have atgms but those atgms are really bad and have poor range.
Sure your 100% right but id still would rather take the 2km range ATGM´s from the Swedish Huey everytime over the unguided mighty mouse rockets.
I spaded it in PVE in the past, but I was lucky to get good teammates with ATGMs, which killed SPAAGs and left AT guns for me + I also killed aircraft sometimes (there was a possibility at some map).
Swedish one is AB204B, unfortunately Italian helicopters is probably the last thing Gaijin cares about, so we still can’t get it in the Italian TT with different weapons.
It feels more like Gaijin doesnt care about Italy at all except when they smell a chance to add some premiums to the tech tree.

Omg i just got my first ever kill in that thing after like 20 battles it felt like getting a nuke
it only was a chopper but still felt good and btw mighty mouse sucks even if you hit by
some miracle you do almost no damage…
When it comes purely to helicopters, Gaijin only cares about the US and USSR. Just look at the huge gap in Germany’s line between 9.7 and 12.3 and the repeated vehicles in it. There’s even a Mi-24P that’s 100% identical to the one in the tree at the same BR, except it’s Premium – it’s literally the same vehicle. The same thing happens with the BO105 PAH, which has a version with HOT-2s and angled ATGMs. All of that is apparently fair enough to justify adding yet another copy, right? Gaijin being Gaijin.
The fundamental fact is that AB-205 as starter heli is just a wrong choice: the AB-205, as configured in the game and in real life, was designed for tactical troop support, not anti-tank warfare.
The first helicopter with which anti-tank use was tested is the 109, which we have in the game.
They chose the 205 incorrectly—in short, a combat-support helicopter being used for anti-tank missions.
You can’t expect much from that.
It’s disheartening how there has always been a lack of careful consulting for everything that flies for Italy in WT.
