Basically the title.
I am curious on this because I found squadron battles really fun and I play them for just an hour. I want to know if CV9035NL is worth going for. It looks like a good vehicle for max squadron BR (though for them I’d rather prefer a bit lower Magach because tanks > IFVs for me), but the lack of ATGMs in IFV designs always confused me. What if you meet a still enemy MBT frontally, all you can do is wipe out his tracks, luckily a gun, and that’s it… Same goes for Finnish BMP-2. Meanwhile IFVs like BMP-2M or regular tanks can both bring horror and with their main gun, and with multiple ATGMs.
Is there anything you could really do with CV9035NL, and say for example with Swedish IFVs line, to enemy MBTs? Because I never succeeded in flanking unless allies cover me surely, which looks to be the only proper tactic with them. Sounds like I won’t love CV due to that, even though as a France main I’d like to have this vehicle (not like im supporting the idea of Dutch subtree adopted by us, just saying).
I know the French kinda hate VBCI, and I see why - average gun with very massive and impractical base. This sounds suitable for every IFV, but at least Russian, German and American ones have bigger guns or proper AT missiles
Move fast, stay fast, and flank.
You outmaneuver everything on the battlefield in all aspects except turn radius.
so no other tactic for AT fights, I guess
I mean, not really. It’s either that or corner camping because of velocity-range drop off.
maybe I’d give CV a shot in 3rd quarter of 2025… I’d get two tanks first
Which one? The 30-35 or 40?
squadron CV9035
So the 35NL, yeah, that bigger bushmaster is lightyears better than the 30mm Mk.II, but still the same gameplay with better efficiency.
