How do two 5.3 SPAAs have a higher RP to spade requirement than multiple 6.0 tanks

So i’ve been spading the British 5.3 line-up and well, the less said the better. But on the SPAA front i’ve found great succes! While i will admit that the Skink is not the greatest vehicle in the game i’ve fairly consistently managed to get a few kills a match, enemy air permitting. However, unlike my slog with the Comet my successes with the Skink didn’t seem to be proportional with the progress in spading it. Turns out it has one of the highest RP requirements of it’s BR! Not only that but this vehicle has a higher RP requirement than multiple different types of vehicles two BR steps higher than it. Its 33% higher than the Challenger (29,600), higher than it’s SPAA mate Bosvark, even on par with the 6.0 Leopard 40/70. In return, the Skink is effectively useless against ground targets. 35mm of pen is pathetic against all but the lightest of vehicles.

And don’t even get me started on the U-SH 204 GK.

Quite honestly, these requirements are insane for vehicles whose primary target might not even appear in an entire match and i feel like they should be significantly lowered.

Probably because spaa doesn’t need mods as much as tanks, I’d much rather play a stock spaa than a stock tank

That’s historical, Gaijin is too lazy to decrease the Module RP cost for vehicles when their BR is changed. This goes in both directions even to an extreme when certain vehicles got downtiered or uptiered by large Numbers. I made a suggestion long time ago to fix this issue but nothing has changed. Even the requirements for Camos and Paintjobs aren’t adjusted properly (they did that axactly once :D ).
