How do i play the J15?

Because they must have it be realistic but they don’t wanna lower it in BR either, it sucks

Gotta love a realistic game that adds a modern jet without its main survivability systems and doesn’t even give it the more primitive systems that are modelled in-game to compensate

I dont have the J-15T, but do play quite a bit of top tier and preference a more defensive, BVR style of gameplay

Best bet is to avoid the furball and early spam. Fly at around 20k ft (below contrail height) and flank left (might need to finesse the alt you fly, EFT is fine at 20k ft, but the J-15T might handle a lot better a little lower, so maybe trial also flying at around 15k ft) . By staying high, fast and behind your teammates, especially avoiding the middle of the map, the number of missiles you will need to defend against early game drops off significantly (this is what I always do, and I rarely have to defend against even 1 missile early game) , being high and fast gives you options for how to defend without using chaff up.

Then look for isolated targets, and leverage the PL-12s and the AESAs you have. High flying F-15s (those in contrail alts) are really easy pickings. PL-12As being GNSS are perticuarly potent in look-down situations. So keep an eye out for something like an F-18 flying in MP.

Then just play the match slow and defensive, dont over-extend, stay near teammates. That is basically your best bet for now.

Honestly having a coppy paste premium is 1000% better then having a unique vehicle. You know how frustrating it is to not be able to play the ZTZ69B because it doesn’t even exist in the tech tree?

Play defensively. Minimise whats being fired at you in the first place. Set yourself up to defend kinematically as much as possible. Use chaff only when needed

what i also do is i try to save chaff most of the time by iron doming cause you have 10 pl12as to play around with

This plane is simply unplayable; it’s the plane you have the least control over. You can perform reasonably well with it if the enemy players make mistakes and you don’t make any, and your team has to win. If your team starts losing or nobody makes mistakes, there’s nothing you can do.
I’ve done some really terrible stock grinds, like on the F104 ASA and Kfirc C7, but none come close to being as awful an experience as doing a stock grind on the J15T.
I dare say that the stock grind on the J15 managed to be worse than that of the Harrie F2.

if you go left at the start you only get few missiles shot at you just start gently notching (to keep up speed) and chaff sparingly once missiles come closer you only need few cm since its large caliber no need to spam like in nato jets, then once missiles defeated turn back in gently and start picking off enemys from afar i would reccommend to fire missiles pretty early around 30km so you can pre notch and pressure the enemy to not look at you, also if you manage to keep up good speed you can hit far shots, also i only bring chaff (probably dead close range anyways) then you even have more cm than many russain/chinese jets if you bring 50% flare/chaff, hope this helps and good luck
