Just like any top tier stock plane?
The thing is that I don’t know how to use it and I die often. It has only 2 aim 9ps and a 30 mm with no tracers
Edit, im blind read 39 instead of 37...
Doesn’t the JAS39C get two AIM-9L and two AIM-120B when it’s stock? The stock belt also has tracers as far as i know.
My general tip for top tier stock planes is to play them low and slow, let everyone else take the first brunt of the enemy wave and then try to sneak up on enemies that are distracted by your friendlies.
For the guns you have the radar gunsight. And the RB24J aren’t that bad since they radar slave and have quite a large launch zone.
Once you get more upgraded then boom and zoom tactics usually work well.
I don’t remember how exactly i played it when i got stock but i’d say most of the time you’ll wanna stay low to the ground since you’ll be facing some missiles that are front-facing IR or Radar
Keep your speed high, mainly going for a hit n run strategy, most planes will struggle to catch up if you aren’t wasting energy
You should have a LEAD indicator if you’ve radar-locked someone, should allow you to get a few stealth shots in if you’re going head to head and easily avoid returning fire since they’ll probably have tracer, can work but i wouldn’t recommend it if it’s not something you’re used to
I’d also recommend focusing on ground targets if you aren’t feeling confident fighting as a stock, most of your kills will probably be from the RB71 you’ll research later
But just in-case, i’ll go stock my plane and see if anything i said actually works :D
1st match: 2 kills + 1 assist using just the cannons
2nd match: Ganked on by 3 Mig-23ML’s, no kills :(
3rd match: 1 missile kill, killed by an R60M i didn’t notice
4th match: Full uptier which is always a death sentence :D
5th match: Another full uptier…
6th match: Put into one of those massive maps and lost my will to live playing on that garbage
Think i’ll take a breather and play some ground…

Usually I just get the napalm bomb mod and then spam bomb bases till I’ve grinded out enough weapons mods to make the plane playable, works for most aircraft. Without napalm, probably jus ground pound.
Sadly the JA37C only has one ground munition option (other than main guns) and that is 24 of the 13.5cm unguided rockets.
I recommend using your radar gunsight against vulnerable enemies (i.e. going slow), until you get RB24Js which are fairly good missiles. Use your good radar to slave them on an interception course in side-aspect. And of course once you get RB71s (your top priority) you can easily drop aces, so the rest of the mods are trivial with them. Don’t bother with RB24s.
