how do I exit it and get back to the live one, I try to delete it and click on the regular launcher but it brings me back to the dev server again, anybody know how I can fix this?

Normally you should just have to switch back from dev-stable to production on the cogwheel menu. That should start a download to reinstall the live game.
I would usually suggest duplicating the launcher and renaming it for specifically playing dev servers to avoid such issues in the future, this way you have 2 separate launcher instances and don’t have to reinstall dev/live game each time you want to switch
