Just wondering how to deal with aim120s without chaff. I know multipath is a thing but it is not consistent, maybe a 50/50.
Still not sure why apfsds is stock for top tier tanks yet chaff is not stock for top tier air.

Notch still works. Even without chaffs
darts are available stock in top rank tanks…
but yea, no chaff is shit, even with ure unlikely to chaff away a 120…
I have yet to have any success with this method. Flying perpendicular while in multipath still allows for it to hit.
Not good enough.
Yeah, it is not good enough due to lack of chaff
No. Due lack of skill
Then provide advice?
Notch.
Thats enough.
Could you provide a replay or something?
I would like to see exactly what you are doing.
Maybe later.
Need to play A-10 for example
This is your average conversation with someone with the intelligence level of kitsune_qq
LMAO
Don’t play at that BR.
The only way to counter is either multipathing or out-running the missile since notching without chaff is useless and you won’t out-maneuver a missile ever
Fly below 50m or put a mountain (or any meaningful terrain) between you and the missile
If the missile is fired from long range, turn 90 degrees and try to bleed the missile of energy, but if its fired at closer range, then its unlikely to be enough.
Is there any reason you arent running chaff?
Probably because of a stock plane.
Because Gaijin doesnt think chaff should be stock on a 13.7 jet
Ah yeah… that does suck
I managed to scrape enough rp to get chaff at least.
So far getting kills with the r77 is not easy. However, the r27et is still doing good which is nice.
I am not a fan of the su27 platform. Likes to roll too much.
Long range? Notch/turn around.
Within the MAR? Multipath, notch and go around things like hills and buildings and hope the missile flies into it
