Hi all, I’m new to the game, first post here. I played some arcade games in tanks, then switched to realistic tank battles; lots of fun. I then tried airplanes; not quite as fun but still good. I now want to try the combination: play a ground battle and eventually hop into one of my planes.
I figured out how to add a plane to the selection of vehicles for a ground battle, but I can’t figure out how to bring my crew over. Am I missing something, or do I have to have separate air crews for the same plane: one for “pure” air battles, and one for ground-air mix realistic battles?

You just put it in one of the crew slots like so
once you put it in the crew slot, it should be ready for battle!

What Mistafin said. You can drag and drop vehicles to any crews and the game mode you select will tell you if they are valid or not.
Just be careful about double assigning the same vehicle to multiple crews. That wastes SL. Also be careful of buying more crews when you don’t mean to. Its easy to do.
You can add more presets for lineups for different modes and BRs.
As you unlock vehicles and assign crews, keep in mind where you want vehicles/crews based upon what you have for a lineup. For example you don’t want to assign a 3.7 strike plane that is good for ground battles to the same crew that you have your best 3.7 tank.
If you are going to play a lot of realistic air and ground, Its a good idea to have crews specialize in ground or air. Like your first 3 crews all have their skill points in tanks, and then the last one all in plane skills. This will let them “get gooder” faster.
As you likely noticed, Air RB is a lot different from Air Arcade, there are a lot more factors to consider and anything you learned in AB cannot be used in RB to any level of great effect.
