i use a MacBook Pro with a M2 Max(8 performance cores, 4 efficiency) , 32GB RAM, and 30 GPU cores.
my problem is that when i load into ground matches the game gets really choppy for a little bit, and if i get really unlucky later on, the game starts getting random frame drops and sometimes crashes. this only happens in ground. in air everything is smooth, and there are no lag spikes or random crashes.
i understand most folks think macbooks are terrible, but i know that my macbook is more than capable of running war thunder well, even at high/very high graphics settings. though i usually run things at medium to keep my temps below 140°F. my Mac SHOULD be running very well, but it doesn’t… i suspect it could be a problem on Gajins end (because WT doesn’t run like every other game on mac, most every game on mac enables a “Game Mode” where it claims to prioritize resources to the game, but WT doesn’t enable that mode. the WT window is also un-viewable unless you click on the actual game icon in the dock bar, which is weird…
though assuming that this ISNT a Gaijin issue, does anyone know any fixes?
