How can I contest my ban and how can I figure out why I was banned

I was playing simulator battles for a few munites, roughly 30 Minutes. I had one teamkill and one accidental engine destruction due to miscommunication. Now why did this ban occur and how can I contest it. The ban is permanent as far as the message told me.
