Just remove this thing. it’s a filler on the same usefulness as J-8B or F-4C. A must skip in a great line. just like J-11A MLU and F-4EJ.

A lot of the older “Technology Introduction” jets in this game just doesn’t keep up anymore. and they oughta be removed for good.

There is no definite answer about SM3 radar. Different sources stated both N035 and N001VEP.

the most comprehensive info that i found suggests that first batch of SM3 that was based on already produced SMK airframes was made with N001, but the later batches got N035, but again no solid proof or disproof for that. There is not even a single photo of them with radar cone open.

These still use N001VEP, N035 requires phyiscal modifications to the aircframe to fit, which are not seen on the SM3.

N035 has smaller radar dish. Moreover Su-30SM2 has N035 inside without any physical modifications made to the nose of the aircraft. As i mentioned there is no definite proof or disproof that SM3 uses N035 found on the internet rn, both in Russian and English sources.

Su-35S is just a way better opton anyway. Engines with proper 3D TVC, MAW, N035, IRST with similar capabilities to Eurofighter one (technically even Su-30SM should have much better IRST that it currently has but Gaijin can’t be bothered), targeting pod like Su-30SM and potential R-37M and R-77M capabilities. Current Su-27SM would be very competitive if R-77 had a bit less drag. N001VEP is not that bad if you get used to its manual control.
