Wasn’t there supposed to be a change a few months ago to allow turning secondaries shooting with mains on and off?
Or am I imagining that?
I can’t see any such control at the moment and still have to go into options/controls to make the change - L-ctrl+E changes between mains and secondaries but doesn’t include shooting both together as far as I’ve seen
Alt+2 for default bindings on kbm allows you to cycle to secondaries
Some ships don’t allow main and secondary (example: HMS Dido) to be fired together

It’s the 8th option under Weaponry in Controls for Navy.

Definetly there. though they also ruined that setting a bit by blocking a load of ships from being able to do it anymore. Like HMS Tiger

There’s a sort of solution for that- fire your secondary guns while also pressing the ranging shot button to fire your main guns at the same time (sequential fire either by gun or by turret, of course), although the range of your primary guns will be limited to the max range of your secondaries.
Also, the aim of the primary guns will remain fixed on whatever you targeted the moment you switch to secondaries until you switch back and re-aim, so it’s not really practical unless both you and the target remain stationary. If that should be the case, you’re even able to choose a different target to fire at with your secondaries while continuing to fire at the first target with your primaries.

It absolutely ruined the HMS Tiger, which has always been one of my favorite ships. There is no way it should be at 6.0 now.

Wasn’t before imo , as getting both guns to hit the same target was tricky, but now? Yeah, I actually think it could be 5.3
