lol you always bring up the Su-39, which is at 11.7, but hey, since it has no maw, but realistically has R-27ERS and R-77s, it should get those with no br increase right?
For example, the MiG-23M has 12 cms, and it does pretty decently.
My mirage 2k SC4 has nothing compared to a F-14B, but I can still do damage, but the F-14B like these harriers have so many, that gun running is really the only option
Spoiler
Not in RB which is the gamemode most people care about
Sure, Of course the R-27ERs would mean probably 12.0 and R-77 would mean 12.7.
Just like how the T.10s missing Aim-9Ms would mean 12.3 alongside the Harrier Gr7 or 13.0+ for its missing ASRAAMs.
Lmao, no by your logic, you must buff it, and it shall not get a br increase.
It’s probably 11.3 in rb because it’s not all that great
The T.10 got a BR increase, it went from 11.0 with 60 CMs to 11.3 with 140* CMs
MiG23M is an interceptor thats capable of mach+, with radar missiles and all aspect IR. its also 11.0.
The T.10 is a subsonic strike aircraft with only IR missiles. Its IR signature is also wrong and even at 80% its as if you where full burning.
And how many cms do other planes have at 11.3?
Radar missiles will be chaffed easily, you have a maw to defeat a decent bit of threats that you aren’t paying attention to, and R-60ms are pretty easy to flare.
In a turn fight the T.10 will win, it has the better ir aams, more cms, etc.
Subsonic ground attackers like the T.10?
AV-8B(NA) has 180
Su-39 has 192
Su-25SM3 at 11.7 has 254
A-10C at 11.7 has 480
AV-8S (late) at 11.0 has 240
Even the Buc S2B at 10.7 has more with 90 (and could have more)
Jaguar Gr1A at 10.7 can comfortably take 60 flares and 216 L chaff.
Supersonic ground attackers like the Tornado have 56 L flares and 1200 L chaff
F-111s have 240
60 is way below average for sub-sonic ground attack aircraft for that BR and 1/3 it’s direct equivalent which is the AV-8B(NA) which also has a more powerful engine and a lighter/less draggy airframe. (Also a more powerful A2G payload for gamemodes like ASB)
Only reason it would be 11.0 with 60 CMs would be because of the 4x 9Ls. Would be hard to justify even that if it only had 2x 9Ls.
then do this thing with your very fast interceptor… and run away. you wouldnt turn fight an F5C and thats at 10.7?
And what is the total for the T.10 now??
60 Internal, 320 BOL.
BOL being about 1/4 the strength of regular CMs (due to 100% fake ahistorical nerfs that were applied more than a year ago, except the burn time reductions, those are correct).
For Flares this is slightly complicated because in luminosity you need around 2-3 flares to match that of a regular flare, but they also have a much shorter burn time. This means to pre-flare effectively you need to drop them around twice as often. In reality, BOL “flares” aren’t flares, but a cloud of chaff like material that produces an IR signature on contact with the air creating a luminoisity similar to that of a large calibre flare (maybe even more effective than a large calibre flare) but with a short “burn” time. (one of the few truly effective CMs vs IIR seekers)
This is also without mentioning the IR signatures issues present on the Harrier’s which makes flaring anything far far harder than it should be, which is only getting worse this major update
For chaff, its quite simple, they have 1/4 the mass they should have. There is a little bit of debate regarding the casing weights, but in essence, BOL Chaff should equal 1 to 1 regular chaff used on most other aircraft.
So with that in mind, as of right now, the T.10 has approximately 140 CMs total 60 + (320/4).
Year+ old bug reports are in for both the flares and chaff. Naturally, if they ever get actually fixed, then this will have a greater impact on balance and a BR increase might be needed. But ultimately CM counts are a relatively minor thing in the long run and might have no impact at all. Especially as the Gr7 (99% the same aircraft as the T.10) had 4x BOL (700 CM total) prior to the BOL Nerfs (and they were literally standard calibre CMs back then. burn time and all) , and prior to it recieving Aim-9Ms had a BR of (post-decompression estimate) of 11.3/11.7 in SB and was widely considered over BRed in ARB (had a higher BR in ARB than in ASB of what would now be approximately 12.3) in fact its BR did not increase at all when it went from 4x Aim-9Ls to 4x Aim-9Ms (it maintained that BR with 4x Aim-9Ls for an entire year without issue until the 9Ms were added and was another 3ish months till the BOL nerfs occured after the Gripen was added)
TLDR: 2x BOL, even if they were standard CM strength, would probably still be 11.3. 4x BOL would probably be 11.7 based upon the Harrier Gr7 having the same amount of CMs before at the same relative BR
What BR is the thing in GRB?
iirc. 11.3. But that is largely irrelevant as we havent got a single 11.3 ground vehicle. So the lowest it will operate is 11.7. Which places it at the same BR as the Tornado Gr1 (which is better is down to personal prefernece) and would be 0.3 lower than the Gr7 which has 100% identical A2G loadout, but 9Ms and 2x more BOL
Might be pretty good in GRB due to the AGM-65G’s. 11.7 has a pretty good matchmaker rn so you won’t get curbstomped by a Pantsir too often.
Yeah, Gr7 was fairly good for low level hit and run attacks, having the T.10 for the 11.7 line-up (which can sometimes be quite good for netting downtiers) might be quite fun.
Though both the T.10 and Gr7 should actually have 6x AGM-65s but are limited to only 4 at the moment and TIALD should be Gen 2 not Gen 1
You got any evidence for this?
Also, Russian helicopters have a wickedly high heat signature as well, I had to do some testing with a buddy after I was unable to kill an unaware Mi-28A (the Swedish one), after 4 Fim-92Es missed. He was standing still and dodging them magically.
Meanwhile in my own testing, the KA-52, 50, Mi-28Nm, N, 35, 24, 8, all couldn’t stop a stinger.
There was 1 outlier of the KA-52 blocking a single stinger, and notes the fact these all had ircm, the exhaust vent, and cms going off to defeat the stinger.
But the total cm count if far above that of other aircraft.

On paper only
Oh so it’s bs that your precious T.10 got more cms then? Great… gaijin going back to the paper tanks I see.
