Topic about Japan adds t84 and vt4

2PL in Germany isn’t the best, but at least its better than PT-91 in USSR

and we are not saying japan used/operated those chinese vehicles lol. we are saying thailand did and since thai and japan are on good terms, then if they were to team up on a war, thats literally vt4 fighting FOR the side of japan and thai

But do you think Japanese players wouldn’t also be displeased that their tanks and aircraft are present in the China tech tree, yet a Chinese tank under Thai service cannot be added because the Chinese players do not like it?

EDIT: what about players from USA? Do they like their planes and tanks being in the China tree?

IIRC first MiG-29 to be added with R-73s was MiG-29SMT.

Which means that between Gaijin saying that MiG-29 will not be recieving R-73 and adding MiG-29 with R-73, there was little over one month.

lmao

Honestly if they just added the VT-4 to Japan I wouldn’t be that mad anymore. People would just forget it and move on.

At least China got the vehicle before Japan (unlike Tor-M1 and AV-8B for USSR and US)

To be fair to them, it was a different plane and not the “MiG-29” talked about in the first image. Though the current MiG-29 9-12 is pretty much fictional.

well then it will not be VT-4 being added to Japan next major update, it will be VT-4 (early, Thai) being added, entirely different vehicle :P

It will be the Big Boss!

more tear’s will be dropped, ig we should harvest those tears and use it as a drink maybe give some to africa or smthin

Captured/licensed vehicles in Chinese tree (e.g. Soviet T-34) were physically used by Chinese forces. VT4 in Japanese tree has ZERO historical or military ties to Japan – Thailand never operated under Japanese command!
Demanding historical accuracy isn’t hypocrisy. If Gaijin adds US-made Type 90 tank to US tree? Fine! But adding Chinese-made VT4 to Japan with no historical basis? That breaks their OWN rules.
You’re conflating two issues:
Licensed/captured vehicles = Valid (used by nation)
Foreign vehicles in unrelated tree = Invalid (no historical link)
We’ve never denied Thailand operated VT4s . The issue is forcing it into Japan’s tree. When did Thailand become a Japanese protectorate? Did we miss that memo?
Consistency matters. Add Thai VT4 as a Chinese premium if needed, but stop justifying fictional placements.**

Pakistani T-80UD and Pakistani vehicles never operated under Chinese command. The same goes for Bangladeshi vehicles

In a perfect world, Pakistani T-80UD would go to Ukrainian tree. (The in-game test model has a T-84 factory designation which I find funny)

It is being added to Thailand, which is currently a subtree.

Unless you’d like to argue the Pakistani JF-17 is under “chinese command”.

Well gaijin decided that Thailand is official subtree for Japan, and Gaijin never backtracked on such decision. So, unless you manage to convince Gaijin to remove the entiriety of subtree, Thailand vehicles will continue to be added to Japan.

not happening when Thailand is official subtree.

Licensed/captured vehicles = Valid (used by nation)
Foreign vehicles in unrelated tree = Invalid (no historical link)

but there is a link, its called, thais usedd them and they are on good terms with japan. if both of them go to war as allies, its very realistic that the vt4 would be fighting for japan and thai forces. By the way its seems like i have to repeat this: VT4 is going to thailand nation, NOT japan gaming nation. there is nothing unhistorical about it isnt ?

We’ve never denied Thailand operated VT4s . The issue is forcing it into Japan’s tree. When did Thailand become a Japanese protectorate? Did we miss that memo?*

they are on good terms, which i dont see the issue considering the primary complain is that “oh if not on good terms then they cant be mixed in one tree”
