It only works on a handful of aircraft where Gaijin has forgot to put limiters in for head movement. The early spitfires show it quite well because looking back while moving the head to the side causes your view to be outside of the aircraft. I think you can also do that in VR by moving your head, but I can’t say for sure.
I haven’t seen it happen on any jets.
I’ve seen custom sound mods that can change the sounds of missiles being fired so they are always heard, which I would consider cheating.

I wish the frontline moving actually affected which airfields you could use.
Going into sim, that was what I was expecting: Winning ground battles secures forward airfields for faster resupply and repairs.
Also Spawn costs need serious revision with either an insurance mechanic (individual actions give you insurance that you cannot cash out, just reduce spawn costs. You still get rewarded by useufl actions) or flat out reduction. Playing sim exclusively as a fighter player is impossible starting with Rank 4/rank V planes - 15K to spawn, 20K per UA cycle.
Also please fix dover strait objectives or give us a pacific SMALL carrier based map for some carrier ops. Denmark is only really used by zombers at props and subsonics. Dover objectives seem to be broken constantly.
fine then they can have there own match but I was simply making a suggestions as a possible solution and yes missiles are brain dead and easy to use.
New cockpit RWR update is going to be a tremendous help too.

They’re fine for lower BRs, and are even too big for some lower ranked planes, but I don’t think they would be that good for top tier aircraft that can hit planes 50+ km away
100km is a long way to travel to spawn kill.
At mach 1.4 ish in something like an F-15 its about 4.5 minutes to edge to edge
So About 3 minutes to enter range to fire an AMRAAM going from edge towards the enemy airfield to fire
We need bigger maps. Top tier definetly, but I think from about 10.0 and up bigger maps start being needed
And all for an attempt of someone that’s likely not there.
AMRAAMs require radar hits, which only really Denmark and Sinai allow for.
The others have too much terrain.
Mostly fine, if youre on high altitude
Terrain just means you have to get closer to find targets, modern radars dont have an issue with looking down to find someone. So terrain masking just delays the innevitable. Especially if they ever fix MP entirely and remove it
A couple of F-15s can happily patrol and control the whole map. New additions like the Typhoon are faster and have better radars. 128km² is not sustainable.
