Yeah then what the fuck am I supposed to do to solve my problem other than complaining? You think Gaijin will magically dedicate a whole update for giving “minor” (I hate using this word, because almost none of these nations should really be considered minor) nations a good amount of vehicles while neglecting major nations someday? But somehow I’m the bad guy in everyone’s eyes, because it’s against the so protected Britain everyone should babysit for some reason. Yet if it was the “big three”, people’s opinions would be different, regardless of the fact Britain has just as much content as the other big trees.

You can complain without being spiteful.

Eh, as long as USA gets nukowa and Germany gets Bismarck, I am happy with this patch naval

Hu?

Lets see Britain and Sweden were the last nations to get Gen 4 aircraft and neither have been overly competitive in air over the past 2 years, only Britian has finally gotten something truly top tier with the Typhoon which is such a buggy mess its almost unplayable

Ground, we have one of the weakest top tier MBTs (maybe if not the weakest these days) and an overall bad line-up for ground on top of that. The Badger is going to do nothing for us in that regard as its going to be a weak 9.3 and the weakest possible IFV they could have added. Still awaiting the half dozen or so British IFVs that would actually be 10.0+, even 2 or 3 that could easily be 11.0+

Naval, we had ages of HMS Hood and that was it, that was our only top tier BB for 2 years. Its nice for us to finally get some alternative options to just using Hood, but we still have nothing even close to the raw performance of Scharnhorst or Amagi. Vanguard might be able to match them

So Britain, the Royal Navy, gets one of its many outstanding BC or BBs and you are acting like its a warcrime? Heck we dont even have an R-Class as that is currently a Soviet exclusive.

So I dont see the issue here. Britain has been very very badly neglected over the last few years, with many additions taking years to get major bug fixes sorted and some additions just outright unusable out of the gate (like the Tracked Rapier and HMS Rodney, both are still not quite right)

I know right, how could someone whine about such a historical ship being added

Though I’d say a2a tornado counts as a 4 gen

In either case, it certainly couldnt 1v1 an F-16 or Mig-29, especially with the stupidly high MP we had for that year

That was pretty rough for the tornado, should’ve been lower. Only problem would be r27er then

Yep, and 60m is still too high imo.

Given they never actually had them IRL. There is quite a simple fix there

50m is probably fine

You know how they are with top tier Russian and Japanese aircraft/armaments

She should receive super charge considering that she will be one of final battleships on top lineup British has along with projected Lion class battleship. Historically not service is not an excuse as there are already ‘planned’ 6 crh AP shell on Hood and Repulse. Especially considering that Royal Navy will be the worst in term of penetration, supercharge is really needed in the future.

No. While shell trajectory has been corrected(well, not 100% historically), shell drop doesn’t mean it could hit deck armor properly in combat range of War Thunder Naval. It only makes aiming harder cause of longer shell flying time, and making penetration of armor more harder.

All hail the Elephant & the Castle the Lord Clive class monitors.

HMS General Wolfe, HMS Lord Clive, as planned HMS Prince Eugene (it would be the third ship in game if added to bear that name, as seen by Prinz Eugen, Eugene di Savoia).

I would hope these monitors get added, maybe in the coastal TT if even goes further than a dumping ground for ocean going frigates.

That does still make me wish we would get the half sister of HMS Glorious (5.7 in game), the HMS Furious which hopefully would be added in the as designed format of two 18"/40 BL Mk. I (niche iirc these guns fired a heavier shell than the 46 cm/45 cannons).

Hmm now come to think of it, just speculation here, but if the Battleship Yamato does indeed come later in the year the HMS Furious would make a good event ship just prior to that update as it would generate hype for such large cannons, than the next update would drop with the Japanese ship.

have you considered playing other tech trees? no ones forced you to play one?

The 16” North Carolinas barely matched interwar ships?

The Gripen was the most unbalanced top tier plane at its introduction we’ve seen in a very long time. It’s pretty hard to think of anything that was a worse offender, actually. Calling the Typhoon “almost unplayable” is laughable too.

Lmao.
Real books usually use the USN empirical formula, as well as various tables from real tests. And here’s the mystery: some ships, like USA ones, are very close to your numbers, while German ones are underestimated. Meanwhile, the French 330 mm or Soviet 305 mm guns of the Stalingrad class are clearly overestimated.

Do you know what the most funny thing is here?

Naval development and modelling is completely separate from the other modes, and you my friend, do not play naval, because if you did you wouldn’t be complaining about this issue.

Rodney and Nelson were interwar ships

Yes, I’m aware. The North Carolina’s were faster, more maneuverable, with more firepower and better fire control.
