You’ll be surprised to see that all Battle class & Daring class destroyers are missing their squid mortars, egregiously you can see the reloading mechanism on the deck but the squid mortars are plated over.
The Type 41 AA Frigate & Dealey class Ocean Escort are the only two ships with squid mortars themselves actually modelled on deck (the latter is also missing GFCS mechanics an thought modelled on the ship), but the devs have be lazy to actually model them as physically working systems it seems.
She already has the Squid weapon modelled, and so too w/ all the other Daring and Battle -class destroyers excluding Cadiz. It 's just not been made visible ingame, probably because it 's not usable.
If there should be a storage space( “ammorack” ) dedicated to the depth bombs for the launcher, then that might be useful to find information or diagrams about, since at present no such thing is modelled. But that wouldn’t be for the present time, instead a future one where Squid becomes relevant ingame.
Anti-submarine equipment, whether rockets, mortars, depth charges, or other systems, is “at the developers’ discretion” (basically, they do what they want). This is a problem that affects almost every nation.
I tried to submit bug reports for certain French destroyers, but they weren’t accepted for this reason.
