History of Finnish tanks

Don't forget - you can now activate video subtitles!

Finland is not well known for its arms manufacturing prowess, and there is a reason for that: before the mid-20th century, the government simply didn’t have the means to develop the industry, and during the Cold War, political complications arose. Historically and geographically, though, Finland could not really remain truly neutral: after the events of the Winter War and the Second World War, the country found itself between the devil and the deep blue sea, squeezed between two massive geopolitical blocs.

There is also ZA-35 turret on T-55 (or T-72M1 chassis) for South Africa.

Also i dont mean to be that guy but most of the information in this video is blatantly wrong and misleading, its really a shame to see how little care is actually put into this video discussing the “history” of finnish tanks.

Also that quote lmao “variety of finnish vehicles” lmao not even close

This is actually just sad . No comment

The other finnish vehicles are on russia and germany, pe 2 has a finnish skin, all cold war to modern russian tanks have a finnish camo for some reason. That really rare yak or whatever has a finnish camo, the HA 75A on germany is finnish and then thw KV-1B

I really don’t like gaijins lazy and half implementations regarding features and sub tech trees , like spall liners ( half the tech trees never received their fair share of them) and we all know why tech trees have become now just copy and paste the main new USSR/usa vehicle but reskinned across all sub tech trees . Fins could have great scout vehicles and LTs but this is instead what the player base gets

I just want more low BR stuff so more players can get them, also i would have taken any domestic finnish LT over the leopards, the leopards couldve and shouldve been added later after the 2a7V for germany was added as the 2a6 was still their best vehicle and having a finnish one at the same time was a kick to them.
