I have been experiencing serious packet loss in matches for the last 2-3 days in the game. I check my internet but I have no problems with my internet. I have a problem-free connection but an average of 20 percent packet loss occurs in matches but the ping is normal. I just entered a match and the packet loss went up to 50-60 percent. I got the server connection lost error. I got the network bad error. At the same time, I check my internet and I can use it without any problems. I am using the EU server. Is there a problem with the servers and sometimes when I open the game, a window appears saying that Battleye is updating, then I get a warning that it could not be updated, there is no internet or it is blocked, but I do have internet at that time. Does anyone know? I am about to go crazy.
In order for your PC to connect to the servers it has to go in the internet highway. Those roads are maintained by different companies and can get congested or under maintenance that can cause connection issues. You can try and force your traffic to go a different route a few ways.
Unplug your computer and modem for about 10 min then reboot and connect and see if it found a better route.
You can also do a DNS flush in the command prompt ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter and hope you find a new route to the servers. otherwise you just have to wait on what ever fix needs to happen down the pipeline.
Same old dogshit servers, they’ve always had.
if your that upset over the servers why still play
I mentioned it but let me state it again that when I experience these problems, my computer is connected to the internet without any problems, that is, I experience these problems in the game, but at that time I am connected to the internet without any problems, I can open YouTube and watch something or browse, that is, I am absolutely sure that the problem is not caused by my internet and i use cloudflare as dns
yeah same issue with me too and its nothing on my side thats causing this issue its just gaijins trash servers. for the past 4 days for me iv been seeing peoples tanks teleport from 1 place to another in gunner sight, planes glitching so much in the sky that guided AA missiles miss/go through them when they should have hit perfectly, ghost shells on enemy tanks, really weird looking ricochet cams where i hit the front of a tank that should have pierced fine but then my bullet somehow turns sideways?
idk whats going on but so far this last update they have done has messed a lot of stuff up
The youtube servers are in a different location than the war thunder servers. Mine-craft servers are in a different location than youtube servers, War thunder servers are in a different location than You tube servers.
Your statement is essentially Therese no traffic on this road to get to the store but when i take the highway to get to the otherside of town theres traffic and i dont understand how i can go down this road with no traffic but i run into traffic on the highway i dont get it…
Bro what are you yapping about? Servers never used to be an issue like they are now. there are expectations the damn game be playable especially when ITS FREE AND THEY GET INSANE REVENUE from the whales that play this game. They could maybe idk spend less time adding a copy paste premium or tt vehicle for the 50th time and just maybe fix the trash servers THE GAME REQUIRES TO RUN. NA servers for example are run by leaseweb a host that already does not get much traffic so what the actual hell is the issue.
I’m sorry you are unable to comprehend how the internet works and how information gets from one place to another. Please feel free to google how the internet works so you have a better understanding.
If it’s bad for you, try to imagine us Latin Americans (Brazil, Argentina, and other countries) who’ve been playing with 170+ ping for years… yeah, it sucks. But hey, you get used to it eventually I promise.

“dude” you need to chill out. I have been having no issues with the servers, and not every packet loss is due to the game servers.
also i dont even know where or what this sentence is suppose to support in your argument
there was nothing about ego until you brought it up so apparently that’s important to you.
Just because someone understands how the internet works and relays around the world and disagrees about it being a server issue doesn’t mean they are sucking up to Gaijin.
I was having disconnect issues due to packet loss so I changed out a lot of things on my computer ended up replacing the Ethernet cord and do you know what happen? I stopped having packet loss and disconnects. So was it the Gaijin servers that caused my previous Ethernet cord to be damaged? Did they fix the severs to work with my new Ethernet cable?
You really need some time to grow up kid. There is more than one point of failure that can happen.
When the whole lobby is complaining for PL guess what, it’s not the dude’s fault. The ISP(s) of some specific servers, or the servers themselves have obviously a problem as roughly 30-40% of games I played in the last hour or so have had PL problems.
There’s something off tonight more so than other days, that’s a fact.
What about what is between “your side” and the servers?
As others have noted your connection probably goes through several different locations before it gets to the servers, and the same back again.
Once upon a time people used to test the connection - I forget the command - probably last did it 12 or 15 years ago - to figure out where a bottleneck might be rather than brainlessly blaming the servers.
Found it - “ping”
tracert i believe is the command your are looking for.
I just wouldn’t know where to look to get the server IP address.
You need to open wireshark and check where you connect. Tracert wont give you back the whole list, it show up until one point and then it becomes asterisks. Depending your location there are different BGP routes that the packets go through to reach you. It could be a bad gateway between specific points.
Given that all the players in the lobby encounter problem, my guess would be either overloaded servers or network equipment, theres always a possibility of a bad gateway on that farm
