High br for saab j35xs

His stats are largely inconclusive, but even then his J35XS performance is in-between F-4E and F-14A.
And we all know how F-4E performs well for its BR.

Cross-analysis [the best form of analysis of vehicles] shows that J35XS is superior to all 10.7s in the game, and on-par with most 11.0s including the F-4F which uses the same exact AIM-9Js, and is one of the best F-4s due to its BR.

J35XS also sustains ~13 degrees per second, similar to the Mig-21 platform, and has a tighter turn circle compared to Mig-23M/MF with that turn rate.

Yeah, my KD is not very high, but that doesn’t mean I don’t play well, you have about the exact same KD, and the j35xs should be lowered anyway

That is genuinely untrue. Being able to shoot stuff from the side or more towards the front is amazing, and that feature shouldn’t be dismissed.

It is also effective to shoot R-60Ms at head on against aircraft with massive heat signatures.
Of course, that can be dodged by pre flareing, but most players don’t that in that BR.

Dude, stop. Most people don’t have the time to play 116 hours per vehicle in War Thunder.
If I played 116 hours per vehicle I’d need to play for over 39,440 hours. At 2 hours a day of gameplay that’d require 54 years.
If I spent 10 years playing the game, I’d need to play 10 hours 48 minutes per day.
That’s not happening.

See this is exact reason why Premium planes exist, and then nerfng them to the ground and putting them in unrealistic BRs to be food for others is just BS…

But again Im not here to change your mind. Im pretty sure Gajin. dont care about J35XS so all this convo is just waste of everyone’s time.

The relative BR of J35XS is lower than it was on release, and its flight model hasn’t been nerfed since release.
The last nerf of the J35 platform was long prior to its release.
Mig-21, Mig-23, etc were nerfed since the release of J35XS.

J35 was released at a BR where it could face F-14s and F-4J was 0.7 BRs away from it.
Today F-14 is 1.7 BRs away from it, and F-4J is 1BR away.

I don’t really particularly see why, when it was 10.7, facing what is now 12.7s like F-14, 12.0/12.3s like Mirage, it is ok and not that much complaint, I just don’t get why when u have to face a max of what used to be 11.0/11.3 vs 10.7 yet the complaint has increased so much. TBH, I get it, since most planes are struggling, is it that it doesn’t get as much downtier it is suffering?
Just a few advice, keep flying within 100m above ground, no dogfighting, try and get your teammates to do that and u stealth launch your missiles.

That became a thing with addition of Tomcat and Phoenix

Even when F-4J was added (if I recall correctly, that was December update)
People did not hug the ground like they did up until lowering of multipath altitude
I’ll just say that radar missiles… Worked bit different back then

It could be worth it to send it to 10.7 BR, if it over performs send it back up. Either that or revert the crazy nerfs it has gotten to its FM. Or they could give it R-13Ms which it used IRL (also they still havent given the XS it’s cockpit, right now it has a copy paste J35D cockpit, even though the canopy is completely and utterly different)
