So I just got the JA37C from Sweden the 11.3 jet fighter. I know that when I lock on someone with my radar target lock and if the target is in range, my cannon/gun will auto aim or something like that. How do I use it best?
Do I just press shot when I can see its aim lock on the target?

Yeah that’s basically it, EEGS shows a small cursor and you gotta put it on target. Though keep in mind there’s some parallax stuff and more going on so it’s not pinpoint accurate, mostly just gives you an idea of where to shoot

Is there a range it is best to use? And should I use it on heads-on?
I found it rather effective around 500m, but tbh I haven’t played many planes with it so my experience is limited. What you need to know the most is that it gets less accurate at very short range (<300m) because of parallax.
I have hardly ever used it in headons because I prefer relying on my instinct to aim, so I can’t say if it works well.
Overall I advise switching from EEGS to manual aim depending on the scenarios, because it’s really nice to have in some cases but can also make things worse sometimes
