I remember some of the planes had their own names on their paint schemes. So I created this post to keep count and hopefully these names can be added to the game as decals. This thread is mainly about model names like Mirage, but if you have nicknames or names of specific vehicles, you are welcome to post them here.

Interwar Fokker planes often had it like the G.1A and D.XXI. They had it on the tailfin if the example was built at Fokker’s own plant.

Spain also has the aircraft’s service designation written on the tail as part of the serial number of every aircraft. e.g. C.15 (F/A-18), C.16 (Eurofighter), HA.28 (Tiger), HD.29 (NH90) etc.

Yep it’s there. C.16-76-10216 C.16 ~ Cazabombardero.16 (fighter-bomber.16) - Spain’s designation for the Eurofighter “Tifon”
On this Tiger here it’s written at the bottom of the tail
HA.28-13-10043 ~ Helicopter Ataque.28

As are F-15E, and YF-23 that you posted before
that would be like if it said
Fighter-bomber on the F-15E and Stealth Fighter on the YF-23. not at all the same.
