Hello my dear comrades

Hi everyone, I’d like to introduce myself. I’m a player from the CIS community and I usually don’t look into the English WarThunder forum, but after the events in the CIS with the transition to PixelStorm, our forum essentially split (once again) and it’s become kind of empty lately. No, posts are still coming out, but their number has decreased dramatically, so I remembered about your forum.

I wanted to ask two questions:

  1. How often do you meet Russian-speaking players in the game?
  2. What do you generally think about CIS players?

I would also like to say that not everyone who speaks Russian is from Russia. For example, although I speak Russian, but I am a Kazakh (like Asians). That’s why I use CIS players here, not Russian players. What I mean is that sometimes they call me a Russian chauvinist simply because I wrote something in Russian in a chat(
PLS don’t do that

Im unsure how good your english is but i believe theres rules to speak the language of the forum. Alot of people are from Europe so their first language is not English but communication is still done in english.

Ive never come accross any racism or such in this forum, and im pretty sure political discussions are not allowed. You will have to read the guide lines. Ive seen accusations of moderations being over-zealous at times, but from what ive seen the rules are implemented. I had a comment removed simply because i had profaine language in it, it was not directed at anyone, or the game, It was just an expression but regardless the comment was hidden until i edited it. So all in all i think this is a good forum, it is preferable to reddit, much more helpful and so long as you dont instigate anything i dont think players care where you are from.

1- Im in the EU time zone, so when i play in the afternoon or on weekends at night time i see alot of cyrilic names in the teams,.
2- I greatly dislike playing SIM during peak CIS hours, as you guys are very very good at the game. I do decently in EU and US servers, but when i play cis i get hammered at times. It is a great way to test my skill though and find joy when i am not trying to grind or spade a vehicle. Over all, my opinion is they have very skilled players.

Anyway. welcome to the English forum, i hope you enjoy yourself!

Depends on the server and the time, usually I play in all of the serves due to the low number of people on simulator battles,

I can’t opine about a group of people that I barely has contact with, but I believe you can find someone in your situation that can have a strong word, depending on the game mode Cyrillic-speaking players and anyone else is very welcoming and specially Cyrillic-speaking players very focused on the tasks.

If you find something offensive just report it, there’s a pinned topic that’s all about this subject: Who is who and Reporting Procedure - #4

Yes, this rule works on all forums. They simply prohibit the use of any swear words without reason. You just can’t swear, that’s all

Me besides see EU peoples at morning and sometimes in weekends at deep nights

Not that I’m bragging, but yes, I noticed it too. I was a member of different Squadrons and one of them was multinational with priority for Europeans. From experience playing with them, I can say that Russian Squadrons are more structured and the players are stronger

Oh yeah, i know this one but even i meet someone i try act neutral. Only a few people made me report them
