HEDP for other ADEN/DEFA trainer jets, not just Alpha Jet (such as new Hawk Trainer)? [poll]

Just curious what peoples opinions would be on giving the HEDP round as seen on the Alpha Jets to other trainer jets also, such as the new Hawk T.1s, the SK60B, maybe the MB326k (though imo this thing is good enough as is). AFAIK the ammunition is compatible with any DEFA/ADEN weapon system, but I would suggest perhaps limiting it away from fighter jets, though giving it to attackers might be interesting later on.

Mostly on a case by basis depending on what other weapons the plane carries. If the plane is limited such as the 2 I named above which have a very limited weapons load, it might be a nice addition to help their tank busting capabilities.

Which (if any) of the following would you like to see the HEDP expand to?
  • Hawk T.1A trainers (including premium)
  • SK60B
  • SK 105G/OE
  • MB326k
  • Hawk 200 series

IIRC gaijin have been open to allowing ammunition swaps before for vehicles for balancing/giving them something more useful and unique, so giving the trainers a bit more of a punch for CAS would give more reason to use them over a normal fighter using guns and a couple of bombs anyway.

For example, this would give the Hawk T.1s a bit more of a usability compared to say, just taking a Meteor, Sea Hawk, Vampire, Canberra or even Strikemaster.

Buddy, the typhoon since release is fighting to get its practice tracer round replaced with the pele-t round of the gripen

The gripen and typhoon use the literal same gun (sweden just renames it)

A man doesnt get cake if a man doesnt ask for cake.

Also, gaijin are well known for leaving things to take years if they are suggested outside of a relevant dev season, as this is a new addition round for Alpha Jets, I hope it means gaijin might be willing to look at it for the new Hawk trainers which are literally in this patch too at least which seem to be very lacking shall we say in the carry department.

It also helps to get cake if you have lots of people asking for said cake, or polling as pro cake ;) wink wink nudge nudge

Well, the Hawk T.1s lost their centreline bombs now as well, meaning that they are even more limited in ground attack capability.

Makes me think it would be even more helpful giving them the belt to make the ADEN more useful for tank busting to make it stand out vs other planes on its BR in the TT.

Only Hawk 200, or only future DEFA trainers brcause I want it to not go below Rank VI and harass WW2 vehicles

Hawk T.1A being a 7.7 means its generally going to be fighting cold war though outside a full downtier and even then, its the most bulky armoured usually which are still resistant to it.
