Hdr

Woah, you learn something new every day /s

Did you read that these shadows were cast out of nowhere in an open field?

And the clouds were only in Flanders yet the picture remains bright with virtually no light blocked.

Oh please.

What?

Have u tried to change the hdr settings in game ? maybe can.

Its randomly fixed, I played the game press windows typed on discord went back and it fixed. idk what was the problem but likely the game was bugged for me. And now its wrong again something is bugged.

Unfortunately I am not able to. I believe it’s fully integrated into the panel.

Raising SSAO, shadow and cloud quality + changing post fx settings from ArcticFoxxo helped.

I then raised gamma correction a bit to compensate for my overall darker panel.

There is HDR settings in the game

Wow. There is an on/off slider for me and this is the effect, note image 2 there is more mud on the tank:

ON:

OFF:

lowers the ground grass

This is for me when hdr works and when its washed out
Washed

Working

or maybe bc u run macos.

TBH I do not play with HDR (I alt-tab a lot and HDR create a 1-2sec. delay on win 10 when you do that) but I just checked and it looks good for me (both on LG 27GL850 - IPS, and on my LG OLED TV).

I had similar issue you show on 1st screen years ago, when I was using Phillips Momentum screen. Some games were simply washed out (not my topic, but something similar https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/15kypdq/is_it_normal_for_hdr_to_be_washed_out_like_this/ you will find much more of this searching for washed out colours in HDR on google).

Sadly I do not have solution for this (because I stopped searching when I changed screen).

You could try and send a DxDiag file to customer support along with these images. That is all I can think of

thx but here its not the monitors fault, the game has to do with something.

where do I get the DxDiag files?

  1. Type dxdiag into the windows start menu

  2. The DxDiag tool appears, click “Save all information” and save the file
