Just wondering if will we ever get a Sea Hurricane for the American TT or just a premium since America has already have enough aircrafts for its tech tree. Sea Hurricanes in Operation Torch and was used by the USAAF afaik and had American markings and I mean since The American Spitfire is in the game already why not a Hurricane Also?
The Sea Hurricanes were Royal Navy planes repainted for Operation Torch so that the British roundels couldn’t be confused for Vichy French and perception of an American-led invasion was more favourable in France’s North African colonies, than one by the British Empire. They were flown by Fleet Air Arm pilots from Royal Navy carriers, not operated by the US. You can see they still have “Royal Navy” painted ahead of the tail.
The USAAF did operate Hurricanes, but not Sea Hurricanes. The one in the first photo with drop tanks is a Hurricane, so could be a USAAF one. But still has an RAF serial, so again could just be repainted for operational needs. KZ serial suggests it’s a Hurricane IIC or a Hurricane IV.
I do apologize for mixing them up. Is it possible then for an American Hurricane to appear as a premium soon?
