Summary from a glance (that was up for question)
No Wingtip AAMs
Sea Eagle
RWR
this variant includes a pair of internal 25 mm ADEN cannons that are also mounted in the nose which can be supplemented by a 30 mm ADEN gunpod underslung in the centerline rack. magical
wait can it have both 25 and 30 or do the 30mm remove the 25mm internal?
Sounds like it will have both in game
The use of the word supplement implies both at the same time
Looks like all the sources I’ve found for Sea Eagle performance over the last few years won’t go to waste
ah yes headons will be v nice in this
I do like 30 and 25mm adens man
Doing more reading through the brochures It looks like it is possible to have a loadout of 5 x 1,000 lb bombs + 4 x 500 lb bombs. For a total load of 7,000 lb.
Jesus Christ that’s a lot of bombs for a light fighter
glorious mini a10 shame it doesnt seem to get inc bombs…
So it sounds like no Radar as this is modled after ZH200
If they don’t want it to have radar, I don’t see why they didn’t just make a Hawk 100/120.
Losing the 25mm and getting wingtip AIM-9s to carry four of them while maintaining bombs or rockets on the inner pylons would have been okay
Giving a one-off prototype of the Hawk 200 that still had Hawk 60 flight instrumentation (pitot tube) in the nose for test purposes, but was planned to have radar with the 25mm guns anyway, is a weird choice.
Could have also just given it the LRMTS nose to avoid the radar fit, if prototypes are good enough.
I think it’s very likely we’ll be seeing other hawk variants very soon
Yeah but could also carry the SF, ASF and AIM 9L on that variant being added, AMRAAM and ASRAAM for the much later version
I think its very possible we end up with a Hawk 200 early (represented by ZH200) and hawk 200 late (represented by ZJ201)
I think we’ll just end up with a Hawk 203 as a premium
