Hawk 200 Technical Discussion The Fighting Hawk

I swear i read it only carried 2 in the devblog, but reading again it seems it just states it carries AGM-65Gs with no mention of how many, so I guess maybe it will get 4

The Hawk 209 is going in the Japanese tree if you weren’t aware, so it wouldn’t help grind Britain at all

If you wan’t a good high tier attack jet for the UK, I’d recommend the Harrier T.10, which has great CAS ability for 11.7 and the flight performance isn’t bad. You can also use it in the lineup with the Challenger 2 OES, which recently got an engine power buff (all Challengers did) so it a bit more worth it.

If you want to get a British premium jet purely for air battles, the Mig-21 Bison is probably the best choice. I wouldn’t recommend the CF-188B unless you really like Hornets.

If you do want to do that though, wait for the winter sale as you said

yeah yeah ik i dont have plan to girnd japan for now, future for sure with sweden

T.10 was removed from the store after the last sale though. So it’s not currently available to buy.
It’ll probably be one of those things that returns for minor anniversary events from now on, (possibly Harrier first flight, RAF anniversary, Armed Forces Day etc.) or become an ingame GE Premium.

i hope it will be back for ge

I am curious for anyone here who has the Hawk 200 and Hawk 200 RDA, can you test and see if it has “nosewheel steering”? (Represented by being able to turn on the ground using the rudder pedals, instead of differential braking). Currently, the Hawk 209 on dev doesn’t have that.

has anyone played these hawks in simulator battles (air)?

if so, can someone tell me which one would be better for taking out convoys? can’t decide what to grind next after eurofighter

I dont have either grinded yet, but imo, its a flip of a coin.

Hawk 200 RDA gets the advantage of being able to run 9Ls for self defence whilst also running its maximum number of AGM-65s (4), and the radar gives you better situational awarness, but at the cost of being at a BR where you stand minimal chance of reliably using them.

The 200 on the other hand is at a BR where you may stand a reasonable chance to use those AGM-65s but your only self defence with 4x AGM-65s is the 30mm ADEN

The RDA is a lot better in sim as it has an excellent radar, as well as being able to carry 4 x AGM-65 (+1000lb bomb) as well as 2 x 9L

No guns though

I love how when it comes to British vehicles, Gaijin pretends to be so accurate that they require not only multiples of 3rd party evidence, but then refuse to believe in them when it doesn’t work with their 3D modelling - a requirement not very likely to be applied to any Russian vehicle.

Be so kind and give the RDA its ADEN. It’s a technology demonstrator, obviously it can fit it. The radar’s not that big and the RDA came in several shapes (including with the internal ADENs from what I saw). RDA is not a specific model with a set spec sheet.

So far, I haven’t seen the sustained curve issue of Hawk 200 resolved on the developer server.

It isn’t sadly

There is about 3 dozen bug reports i was hoping theyd look at this major update, but they seem to have not done a single one.

Its wierd, last few updates, they seem to have done far few old bug reports than normal

“it’s all minor nation players having too OP vehicles, gaijin please nerf and then move Su-25BM to 10.7 because it’s too bad at CAS.” 99% of soviet mains.
