I’m sure this is super fair for the 9.0-10.0s that don’t have flares. It’s not like we’ve uptiered the A10 and Su25 from lower BRs to avoid this same issue or anything.

Last time I checked at least with the FA.2 in sim I made up about 70% of total play time.

Any jet that climbs at a set schedule will easily out climb the harrier
350 knots slow speed you’d expect the harrier to smoke everything yet a MiG-21 is 30 seconds faster to just 20,000 feet
(IRL ithe harrier is considerably faster climbing especially at 350 knots but you get that this is an in game comparison)

the hawk is abysmal. Ideally id prefer it to have its STR fixed so its closer to alpha jet and get 9M so its actually playable.
gaijin wont even give it its gunpod so moving it down is the only realistic way of making it not feel like a prop at top tier
No, it isn’t. SRAAM requires rear or at the very least a side aspect. It is avoidable by not letting the lard boat of a harrier or hunter behind you.
If it’s truly unplayable then the best solution, if gaijin does not decompress, is to leave it unplayable.
So 11.7 BR minimum. Don’t bring up Jaguar IS or JH-7 being 11.3, those are also undertiered and should start at 11.7 minimum (preferably 12.0). Hawk being subsonic can be 11.7 like A-10C

If you want to lower it to 9.7, then the Italian AMX must also be lowered; as you can see, it’s not the only aircraft with a high BR
Alpha jet and amx are fine they are both overperforming garbage
Alpha jet is at BR 8.7 and can still be used, while AMX is at 10.7 and is almost unplayable.
How tf?

And how is it related to AMX?
AMX pulls more G then the hawk at any airspeed besides having much higher wing loading and a worse aerodynamic wing profile
Hawk 200 is perfectly fine for 10.7 when the Alpha Jet TH exists at 10.7
Alpha Jet TH might be one of my favorite jets as it gets AIM-9P-4, which are worse than AIM-9Ls. I would say that I am pretty competent with the Alpha Jet TH, being objectively worse than the Hawk 200. I say it all comes to skill, though.
I think it’s actually somewhat criminal that the Hawk 200 is at the same BR as the Alpha Jet TH, with better cannons and an RWR with AGMs. Just expect that you will be last to the fight, maybe use that time to your advantage?
