Have you had any problems with the KV-7 (Under-13) as enemies?

I had a fight last game with someone who owned this tank. I hit him from the side, from the rear, and from the front, along with other players, and he didn’t take any damage.
Has anyone else had problems with this tank?

The kv7 has a lot of armour. Bit it’s also not that hard to kill. It’s not more than 100mm anywhere afaik. From the frount you can go through the driver hatch or the sides of the upper plate where there is no addon armour.

Well, I don’t understand how I didn’t hurt him. 🤯

Gaijin magic ,happens every other match for everyone against anything.

I’m a little unsure as to where you’re struggling, but the Chi-Ri should be capable of slicing through nearly every plate on this tank. If there’s any advice I can give you, shoot the larger and flatter plates on the upper superstructure.

And follow the advice here as well. While you can shoot low, I highly recommend shooting the middle of where the crew would be.

Ammunition is found scattered throughout this compartment and should be an easy ammunition detonation when struck.

Anywhere found green here works at a flat angle, but the KV-1 series tanks can be durable. They get scary at angles for newer and experienced players alike.

If you’ve seen the photographs, that’s the problem: not a single scratch, and the last two shots fired from the front were from 80 meters… so, is what happened abnormal?

I don’t like this magic! 🥲
Something similar has happened to me more than once, but not so blatant. They’re not my shots anymore, they’re my teammates’ too.

Overlapping plates.

Just shoot here.

Can you link us the replay so we can check out what happened?

Shot 1: seems like you hit a just a little too steep angle for a pen.

Shot 2-3: you hit overlapping plates.

Shot 4: hit a bad angle which caused a bounce.

Shot 5: hit the storage box which acted as spaced armor

Actually looks like it bounced off the tracks

You might be right. A bit hard to see on my phone.

Try zooming in and checking the orange shell path

I don’t know if I’m sharing the link correctly.
The name of the enemy is: BLGN (and it is in the first minutes, when the game starts)

The link is good. I just don’t see BLGN on any of teh teams

nvm the replay is fine. Gimme 5 mins and you get an analysis

Shot 1 you hit a 75mm thick plate at a bad angle.

Shot 2 you get gaijined a bit here by the tracks.

Shot 3 you hit the 25mm plate on top of the 70mm plate at a horrible angle.

Shot 4 you again hit a 25mm plate on top of a 75mm plate at a bad angle.

If the second shot did not get gaijined you would have taken out the engine. If the first shot hit a bit lower you probably would have gone through the lower hull armour.

The last 2 shots you should have aimed for the driver viewport. (I know the last shot would be hard to hit because he was moving but the 3rd was not that hard to hit.

Wow! What a great explanation you’ve given me! I appreciate it. So, there’s nothing strange about this… It makes me angry, but if everything is in its place, I have no reason to complain.
I’ll have to go cry on the mountain haha

Thank you very much for your time. I appreciate it. 🍻

Apart from that shot going to space when you hit the tracks not really.

I see you are lvl 32 so just keep playing and you’ll get better. And for any KV-series tank that you don’t know how to kill from the front? Just go for the driver port.

Good KV players will always position themselves at an angle.

You should always wait until you have the best angle to shoot (90°).
