How could M4a1(76) be 5.0? All Sherman 76 need to drop 0.3, I have no idea when Panther D in 5.3 while these useless Sherman at the same BR.

It is better than the 4.7 T-34-57, and it was fairly good at 4.7.

Stable long 76mm with good pen and explosive filler on decently mobile hull. Yes, it is a skill issue.

Nope, it has worse armor and mobility, and consider the fire power rate, there is no too much difference, but STAB
It has the worst mobile in all Sherman, 400t/32.7t, even worse than M6A1
Then the M4A1 76 will be just a better version of the Chi-Tos at the same BR.

The mobility is about equal, and the armour won’t stop higher tier guns, just like the T-34.
The t-34-57 has a better ROF, but way worse post pen damage, while the M4A1 has slightly less firerate, but with much more damage.
This is the main reason why it is better. You can shoot on the move up unitl 24kmh, while the T-34 cam’t.

Mobility is much worse, it is even worse than M6A1, which only has about 12.2hp/t, even worse than KV1 or M6A1, and the maximum speed is also worse than T34
They do, but if they didn’t move down when the M4A1 76 was 4.7, they’re not gonna move down now.
That is just flat-out wrong it has better mobility than the m6a1, especially in reverse the whole reason I prefer the t1e1 over the m6a1 is the reverse speed
The only reason a slow chassis with 0 survivability and a mediocre gun could be considered “good” is bc it faces noob Germany/Russia mains.

Is good because is a good tank. Everyone can do well with a Sherman stabilized and 76 mm gun at 5.0, well except USA mains. USA mains are mostly incompetents need CAS spam for obtain more than one kill.

It’s a partial, single plane stabilizer, and it makes the shermans very capable tanks. The M4A1 76mm is better than te 4.7 t-34-57, and it was very good at 4.7, so natually it should be 5.0.
Those are just undertiered tanks that can’t be balanced well because of compression. Atleast the panthers went up in BR not too long ago.
Personally, I think they shouldbe 5.3 and 6.0, but decompression is needed for a better balance. Any lower and they would be incredibly overpowered.
the 5.3 and 5.0 panther. went down. and they are virtually immnue to most rounds, every single U.S Sherman has gone up for literally no reason.
the only thing that countered the tigers /panthers was the 76 jumbo, and for some reason its sitting at 6.3 with a 76mm cannon that has even less penetration than a 5.0 panther
They didn’t, they have always been that BR unless they were changed a long time ago.
Because it is better than the panthers because, I’ve played the 76mm Jumbo a fair bit. It shouldn’t be 6.3, but it also might be a bit low at 6.0. I also wouldn’t be against moving it to 6.0.
