Because gaijin isn’t the developer of enlisted, they are using assets from gaijin, but gaijin is the publisher not the developer.
So i doubt gaijin has the right to use the system developed by darkflow.
In principle, this is a suggestion for realistic sight mechanics for Simulator. Such a mechanic would require historical clarification of drivers’ sight and creation of fixed commander sights to be properly implemented, the commanders’ sights being necessary for proper vision in the closed mode. Which is an extremely large amount of work; I am not against this, but it would take up too much work in place of other improvements to the simulation mode.
Which improvements would that be?
Realistic first person views is one of the top priorities when it comes to making SB GF a sim mode.
the argument is simply that a better tank feeling improves the quality of the game. among many other things.
Wait who developed it then? and also why not just use what the Developer did for enlisted.
The developers are called “darkflow software”.
Gaijin would need to buy the code from them. Even though gaijin is the publisher and they provider the engine for enlisted. They have no rights to take Darkflows intellectual property.
Maybe it’s in the contract for gaijin to do so, but in general they cannot just take the solution of someone else.
Well Gajin can still just use Darkflow’a code as a base and make their own for War Thunder.
Or what I am trying to say is just do it the same way as Darkflow
