I propose adding a new modification module. Currently players must manually set keys to control hydraulics. With this modification equipped—for instance, on Japan’s Type 90 (Kyū-maru)—when you reach its -7° gun depression limit and continue dragging your camera downward, the system would automatically adjust the suspension to achieve your desired aiming angle. Would this be feasible?"
It probably could be implemented like the strv103 aiming mode. That literally just uses rhe suspension and you can manually control it with rhe keybinds.
It’s manually operated IRL with those tanks, so I don’t see why.
Because its a game, not IRL.
You dont have to play a mini-game everytime you manually load a shell in a manual loader and we do have things like the driver assist mode which means the tank follows your mouse.
Something that is a little more organic than the current set of controls would be a major QoL and accessibility boost for what is a video game
Would need to be submitted as a suggestion and id suggest having it as a “aiming assist mode” or something. Either a keybind or in-menu toggle that works alongside the current set of keybinds. That way players can choose what they want to use.
Id also heavily weight the suggestion on accessibility as well. A change like this would be of great benefit for anyone who may struggle with larger pools of controls and not just a QoL improvement.
I would suggest using the same keybind as for hull aiming mode. Just rename it to hull aim mode/ suspension assist
Yeah, that would work
