Harbin H-5 83130 “Eagle”

PLANAF

Background

Spoiler

Upon the initial development of the “Flying Leopard,” the budget was famously referred to as “the poorest in history.” Consequently, the firing control system was tested on an H-5 plane from the 3rd Division of the HNA, at the very least to ensure it met the required standards for approval.

Although the 3rd Division of the Navy was withdrawn in 1985 in the course of the major disarmament, this “ownerless aircraft” still retained the number of the aircraft during its service in the army, and its name was changed to the “Eagle” weapon test aircraft, to test the matching work of the JH-7 fire control system with the 232H radar as the core and the YJ-81 air-to-ship missile. Under the technical guidance of the 603 Institution, the aircraft completed the first phase of modification work at the Shanghai 5702 Aviation Repair Plant, and completed the test launch verification of the YJ-81 in 1987, before the first flight of the JH-7.

The aircraft’s navigator’s station was removed, and instead, a large ogival radome with a pitot was installed in place of the nose glazing. This radome housed a Type 232H Eagle Eye fire control radar. Additionally, two pylons were added under the outer wings, allowing for the attachment of two YJ-8 anti-shipping missiles.

Such a distinctive modified ground-to-sea bomber must come out H-5 bomber with radar and two anti-ship missiles. Make it an advanced vehicle and put it in 8.7-9.0.hat would be perfect…

+1 for jet bombers

When I saw the plane again, I suddenly had a bold idea. Since it is based on the H-5 bomber, it has changed the position of the bomber into radar and carried air-to-ship missiles. So is it possible to change it from a bomber to an Attack aircraft? Just like the French SO.4050IIN

A daily reminder. China is really short of planes on the non-tech tree between 5.7 and 9:00.Hurry up and give 1-2 gift bags.

More than a month has passed, and it has been almost two years since the player submitted these special planes, which have not attracted the attention of GAIJIN at all.

Welcome to the suggestions area of the forums. Where people make some awesome suggestions, but nothing gets done with them

Hey it got approved, that’s already much better, I’ve been waiting for at least 6 months for mine lol

Haha yeah I know the feeling xD

I had a suggestion of mine denied within one day of submitting it. But approving suggestions take months now for some reason.

I have one from October 8th another from September 25th and a third from August 9th.

Meanwhile the moderators happened to crank out two Leopard 2A8 suggestions almost instantly (I’m gonna guess they will be passed this month or next).

It’s a real shame the forum resets the “created” date of a post as soon as it get’s approved. Three suggestions of mine that were approved on the 28th of October where actually submitted on the 30th of July. I remember that date because I had something important that day.

But on the forum those suggestions are listed as created on the 28th of October. But it’s actually the 30th of July.

Yes, the proposal submitted now has taken too long to pass. The answer given by the forum management is that more suggestions have been submitted. In addition to the latest proposal I submitted today, I have five proposals to be reviewed, the earliest of which was submitted in August. Even if the submission is approved, it is still unknown whether it can really appear in the game. It’s just a pity that some special and interesting tanks and planes can’t appear in the game. They are replaced by skin-changing vehicles and planes.
