H145m coming sweden?

friend, if gaijin added mi28a without Sweden having operated it, then it is 80% possibility

Yes, because none of us operate modern helicopters for the most part as we’re more set up for naval operations.

(Danish) again sweden simply doesn’t have any options for helicopters past the UH60 which could mount 4 hellfires but again thats as far as it would go. If you want helicopters you could suggest the Swedish Chinook or a Danish Lynx given ours relations with sweden but i wouldn’t get your hopes up for Denmark realistically.

Mi28a was offered/trialed.

The H145M was not

H145m trialed

Biggest reason it was added was because gaijin wanted money, they added a premium helicopter because they do it with every nation and it was the only option that was suitable for money. Dont use that as an excuse. If theres one bias stringer than anything else its money.

Its just that F&F Spikes can’t be tested in Germany, its too densely populated. Its not allowed by law. They usually do it abroad in Hungary sometimes, or in this case in Sweden. This test has nothing to do with Swedish military. They just used one of the vast Swedish shooting ranges. Its a German chopper, German serial number and German crew from the Eurocopter plant.

Furthermore, the best Finland can offer is the NH-90, so not exactly suitable either lol

Literaly no.
The sources u provided is not a trial.
Its germans doing weapon tests on a swedish shooting range

Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland have similar helicopters, the only nation to have new AH 64 is Etsi with UK AH-64E’s lol. Sweden is for the most part a dead end heli tree. Realistically it just means be prepared for some serious BS if they decide to give them anything lol

Again, a very similar situation to the Mi-28A: Russian heli, russian livery, russian pilot, etc…

You’re ignoring basic gaijin logic which is point to the nation without a premium heli?

The MI-28 is only here because of money

In March 1995, the Swedish Chief of Army Command, Åke Sagrén, announced the need for a dedicated attack helicopter platform, citing the changing nature of modern warfare and the HKP9A helicopter’s inability to satisfy the Army’s requirements. Two helicopters, the Boeing AH-64 Apache and the Mil Mi-28A Havoc, were chosen as final candidates after the field of potential helicopters was narrowed to two. These helicopters were flown by foreign pilots while Swedish crew served as operators/gunners. The former was regarded as a complex but effective platform, while the latter was viewed as reliable, easy to control, and less of a burden for maintenance crews. Both passed initial trials successfully, but procurement was cancelled due to budget cuts and a shift in national defence priorities.

The H145M was germans doing weapon tests. It dpesnt relate at all

Eh sadly it’s true, gaijin refuses to do anything nice for minor nations without a financial incentive

Eh, helicopter gameplay is still kinda niche so i dont mind it, id rather they get some better CAS platforms for air to make up for it but its whatever the snail wants.

This one was tested by Swedish armed forces lol. The H145M test was just done there cause the company booked the shooting range for its own testing of this chopper under winter conditions with lotsa space to test the weapons.

They already did the same in Hungary with life fire tests of its Spike armament.

To be fair, we’ve seen vehicles go to a TT for less despite domestic or export options existing. The power of C&P is a powerful thing.

I’m not going to squabble with either you or shini, simply because I don’t care.
My aim here is simply to inform you not to get your hopes up, if gaijin feels like sweden needs the H145M then they’ll find a way to add it, no matter how dubious the grounds or justification is

I mean.

If that means sweden trialed it.

I want my KF41 and KF51 etc.
Cause germany trialed those as well in that case. Those life and breath in Unterlüß for testing

Is Germany the US? Can’t see it happening, they don’t pay like the US does to warrant gaijin bending the rules. (Stingray moment)

Dunno, its a pure German project. Like 85 of these choppers are ordered and thats the final development before its getting into production. You’re dellusional when you really think it should be added to Sweden. Just because the prototype dev crew booked a test range in Sweden for their own purpose.
