I’ve tried using them in test flight for like 2h hours and here’s what I got.
I can get the radar to track with the little dotted line pointing to the plane on the green cone ui and it says TRK but whenever I fire it just acts like a normal SACLOS missile. There also aren’t any guides online from so this is all I’ve found.
Some help would be much apricated.
Fire flash is for the Vixen FAW right? Or is it the swift F.7?
I don’t believe it’s radar guideable, as it is a “beam riding missile” or in other words, it guides where you points your nose IIRC.
It’s for the swift f.7 I’m just not sure how to use it. It would be really cool I learn how cause SARH at 8.7 sounds quite funny.

You just lead it with your mouse IIRC
I know how to aim it normally I just wanna be able to guide it with my radar
It is only guided by SALCOS, the radar range finder in game isn’t used for guiding.

In theory, you lock someone and the missiles should guide to them. I think so anyway. Very hard to use missiles. Otherwise, turn off the radar and manually guide them by pointing the nose at someone. I locked someone at fairly close range, high up, then fired and got a hit. Mostly just practice.
Those missiles are completely independent from the radar. They are basically only guided by where you point your mouse/nose at
point the nose and fire… and hope what you are shooting at doesnt sneeze and turn 2 degrees.
