At 6.3 there is enough tanks that can deal with it, not to mention how many vehicles have HEAT that makes T-44 armor weak
It really should just stay 6.7, it isn’t bad enough at 6.7 to warrant going to 6.3 and compressing.
Even in these engagements, T-44 is a tiny tank.

It is fine where it is. In capable hands it is one of the most versatile mediums of its BR and the armour really is just good (partly because volumetric makes the turret very trollish).
Also, if you move the T-44 down to 6.3, then the STP will have to move down to 6.0, etc, etc, since it definitely is not a worthy sidegrade to the T-44
Tbf the T34, T30, T26e5, and KT’s need to move up and then I’d say it’s fair to keep the T44 at 6.7, since it’s armor isn’t as strong as you say, and it’s gun isn’t much better than a T-34-85.
T-44FM is no where near as good in mobility, and armor. It shares the same gun sure… but reasonably it should be a 6.0
What other mediums even exist at 6.7? Pretty sure T-44 is the only one no?
Just move the T-44 FM and T-34-85 STP to 6.0 and then move the regular T-44 back down to 6.3.
I don’t see why it shouldn’t be at 6.3 when its armour is good but an APHE to the cupola can often kill it in one shot.

the t34-85 and t20 should be in the same br and i dont want the t20 going down to 6.0 so let the t34 at 6.3
T20 is better than STP in almost every way other than shell.
Cent 2 has APDS and a full stab, type 61s have heat HEAT FS.

yea but me personally from all 6.7 i wouldn’t move anything except the IS-2 (1944) to 6.3 i would let all other 6.7 heavies stay where they are because 6.7 is my favorite BR
M26E1 is very good for 6.7 since it keeps the mobility of the regular M26 but having the gun of the T-26E1-1 (with a faster reload).
A better equivalent to the T-44 would just be the regular M26

All those other heavies constantly see 5.7 tanks though, that’s the major problem.
yea but if you move them to 7.0 they will see apds and more heat-fs and their armor becomes absolute

i thing that 6.7 is the best br so i dont want to see it getting split up
