How it relates to ODL is at high tier they’re not sold with multiple vehicles offering the ability to make a lineup rather they’re sold as one solitary tank.
If Gaijin was serious about the health of their game they would sell premiums in groups so when you purchase one you’re purchasing a full / half lineup to offer at least some benefit to your team.
Go ahead, look at my full account. See all the tech tree vehicles I’ve used, and all that I’ve spaded. Do I own plenty of prem vehicles? Sure. Are they all I play? Not even close.
In naval, those are usually bots. Not real players. so good luck ever stopping them from 1DL.
In GRB, its because the gamemode is badly made and designed. 100s of suggestions for improvements have been made, but none have been implemented. The key point though, punishing players will never work. If they want to quit. They will quit. Full Stop. So instead they need to just fix the gamemode and reasons why people want to quit instantly. but it will always happen to a degree. it is a fundamental fact of online PvP games. The best they can do is mitigate it
Ah, I see the reply and perhaps there is a discrepancy in my topic title.
I should have been more detailed.
I wanted to tell you that we should do something about the current situation where “players who die within a few minutes of starting a battle leave the match with an excess of SP”.
In that sense, I am positive that players with 1 spawn and no deaths, or players with 1 death but some solid activity, they leave the match in a situation where they are outnumbered and not worth spawning too much.
Perhaps, but the topic I started was poorly worded.
My main battlefield is air combat, but I only have a premium vehicle for land combat because I like it, so please be concerned about that.
At any rate, after a series of replies, I found that there was a discrepancy between my intentions and everyone’s reactions, so I reorganized the topic.
I’m not concerned about winning or losing a match myself, but I’m just starting the topic because I’m hearing members of the clan complaining about people leaving the match with one death within the first few minutes of the match.
At the same time I’m making this topic, I’m also making the following topic. I hope this topic here and this topic will convey my intentions.
One spawn Is a player mentality problem. The game already does a lot to encourage players to stay ambut players keep doing it. A spawn point as mentioned would make game play worse and not change one spawn leavers
Currently Im 1-deathing b/c the only tank i want to play currently is the Leo 2PL b/c im trying to spade it. I will spawn again if i get a kill or 2 but b/c of the rp soft cap it is less efficient to spade my tank if i keep spawning compared to 1-deathing
make it crew lock for the everything if they leave after one death and before the timer is up, let it say the same after the 2nd death (and no technical issues don’t count, the game askes you if you want to go back into the battle you just were in)
Then spawn the second one or get the time out. If they don’t have more than one vehicle and no back ups and then crew lock. I don’t care if a level 12 with a t-72av or a youtuber with a Leo2a6 PSO, they should both get the punishment for one death leaving. They are ruining they game for people who do care.
Nope. Many valid reasons to one death or even zero death. Punishment also does not work as a concept in video games most of the time (this is one of those cases).
Fix the reasons for WHY people WANT to do it and it’ll stop. Anything else is silly to do.
I can take Type 10 and reserve tank/plane. After I die with type 10 I can just yolo rush into field and get obliterated just so I can move one. So even after that there is still workaround.
Gaijin should add more game modes to satisfy players with different needs and not push them all in one mode.
Fun fact. If you spawn a plane on airfield and leave vehicle immediately, it does not count as death but it takes spawn points and it does not apply crew lock. So another workaround for ODL.
It asks only once and only if the reconnection is within a certain time frame. If you reconnect and get booted again it doesn’t ask you again for the same game. SO YEAH, IT DOES COUNT.
no it doesn’t 2 days ago my WT client crashed and when I got back in a game I lost connection and was still able to get back in the game. Plus that was way after the crewlock timer ended so it wouldn’t have mattered
