Has anyone noticed the Gripen’s PS-05 radar ghosting al ot and not being able to hold a TWS lock? IVe been flying the SAAF Gripen C recently and the radar has been working horribly for me.
Last time I checked Refresh rate was still kinda slow and causing issues on TWS mode.
My advice is that whenever you target someone through TWS switch to narrow scan mode, that way you will get more consistent radar returns.

yeah its still buggy though, I think Gaijin messed something up when they implemented the whole NCTR plane immagery on the radar. The narrow scan is only 6 degrees and IVe been using the medium scan which gives the most vertical scan possible, but its so slow and ghosts a lot.
Ive had better luck with the N001 radar than this SMH

I use medium scan while scanning the battlefield, as soon as I got my eyes on my prey I switch to narrow scan zone to maximize my radar advantage.
Use narrow scan whenever you’re going to hunt someone, although medium scan can cause ghosting from time to time it usually gives you solid awareness on battlefield.

Sadly no.
Our ingame Gripens are Frankenstein, they are modelled according to Gaijin’s wish.

Most likely.
Iırc it was developed from blue vixen radar just like Captor-M.
We know CAPTOR-M has faster refresh rate in real life so you can guess the rest.
