I dont think rank 9 premiums are likely either, but I think nations like italy can afford more vehicles. Considering they domestically are almost (or are depending on how you see it) are out of future options
An updated hungarian C wouldn’t be a bad idea but it could end up a poor jet like the legacy hornet. And the romanian F-16 could be good but one rank 8 jet that will be mediocre at best may not help too much. Turkish/spanish jets may assist the tree more
5th gens aren’t for another year? Would you prefer these trees go for an entire year with no new vehicles? Especially with italy about to have only 4 rank 8s?

Eh its hard to say, ive been an avid real Gripen C player for a while and all my talks with Smin point to gaijin wanting the Gripens to be a baseline to fit what they want for bakance since pushing a C model against EFT and Rafale wouldn’t be very fun.
Romanian F-16 with AIM-9X and AIM-120C-7/C-8 would be perfect rank 9 candidate. While at rank 8 MiG-21 LanceR could be placed, like here:

Well they are both located around eastern mediterranean so thats geographical link, they have estabilished security cooperation, inteligence sharing and counterterrorism efforts amd do military training and excercises since the 2010s.
Greece also supported Israel during Six day war.

You will likely counter with some stupid argument like italy and brazil also have some treaties on scientific cooperation but the baseline is theres no defensive cooperation with direct involvement of nation militaries.

Unless it comes as a premium, Italy doesn’t have a Brazilian sub-tree, so it’s never gonna get it unless Hungary plans on getting the E
Part of me doubts Hungary is gonna buy the Gripen E given they just renewed their contract for more Gripen C and D models in 2024 iirc and with all the money they spemt buying MS20 models it seems more likely they want quantity of aircraft given they had multiple chances to buy the E.
Hell even the Gripen E in sweden in game isn’t Swedish lol
