According to @Pipimer they didn’t, he’s more knowledgeable on some of this stuff than I am. I’m aware of the series being used on all those aircraft (just reported it for the A-7 the other day), but I only have sourcing for the L/I and L/I-1. If you have information to prove otherwise please share it, it’d be much appreciated.
If you have sourcing, please bug report it. I don’t have any information on this available to me.
Already reported!
As for the other A-7H stuff, again we need sources which I do not have.
As I have said before
It’s incredibly difficult to find proper source for the H which also why I think gaijin just gave up and made it a copy of E even though it shouldn’t have been
CATMs can be distinctly identified from live variants yes, but the variant of live ones cannot be identified from one another. The main problem with the Lima variants they have no exterior differences from one another, meaning we need documentation to prove the use of the base Aim-9L variant.
I never said it should get it, just that it could. If you read my report on it, I make it clear the Aim-9P series and Aim-9P-4 at most should be added, with the Lima series at least being considered.
Thank you for making this thread. Israel was the first tree I maxed out. I am really looking forward to Greek representation in the game as well as it being a beneficial relationship with the Israeli TT.
It’s important that Greek vehicles come to the tree as accurate and as bug free as possible. (Still waiting for Merkava fixes)
I have a decent sized personal library on Military aircraft. Let me see if I can come up with any data.
The problem is it’s not that easy to find those photos from the past anymore.
This on is guarantee an 9L (training round though) , because the plane crashed in the Aegean , some miles outside of Sithonia on Wednesday 27 May 1998. Both crew members survived.
The first 9L/Is came way after since the deal finalized somewhere in July 1998.
Similarly, 9M deliveries started 1999 , with the deal taking place December 1998.
So this one is guarantee 9L , since we didn’t have any similar looking missile at that time.
In this one it’s a normal missile 9L , not training…Photo taken in 1993.
About ARMAT in M2000-5Mk2 , ARMAT was already retired by 1999 (maximum) , Mirage 2000-5Mk2 first delivery of a plane of that type happened 2003 for Mirage 2000-9 and 2007 for Greek M2000-5Mk2. You don’t wire for a missile that doesn’t exist by then…
Both changed the older SNA for Rafale’s MDPU , implemented Glass-cockpit and went full digital so they are different as a core from French 2000-5F (If we imply it was even capable for ARMAT). Also , the missile was already retired so they didn’t implement it.
If we talked about older versions, like 2000Es …you can say they were technically capable (like Egypt had ARMAT for their 2000EMs) as a stretch, but those planes were from 80s. All 2000-5 upgraded were after 2000, that the missile was history by then. Hell, 2000-5F and Mk2 aren’t even the same core in electronics.
