Hell no. You missed the mark. The soviet tree does not need a subtree and if yugoslavia gets added to the ussr that would be such a disgrace with the sheer amount of insane and wacky vehicles that tree can bring into the game

By that logic this thing should go to the US tree.

You can stick a Greek STT in US, FR, GER, UK, or IL.
The problem is, which on in the worse position in terms of needs and variety.
For the people that may question about UK, whatever WW2/post WW2 till 50s, big part was British.
And Cyprus was British as well from 1878 till 1960 (don’t get offended , that’s history) .
Personally… i wouldn’t really mind any of them, or even to not implement Greece/Cyprus STT at all…
The problem is IL is just …too little for standalone tree. And they don’t even have WW2 and all the others already have enough.

In theory you could make a standalone …Balkan tree and because the numbers wouldn’t matter it would work for 2,5/3 of the game (they just don’t have BIG ships , Destroyer/light-cruisers they have…but that’s the limit). And it would have variety -though nothing spectacular , but could play.
But , if anything it can pair well with IL , without turning it to OP.

During the 12 days of war, for me who lives in T.e.h.r.-a-.n and could easily observe many of the strikes (closest was about ~2km), not even a single MiG flew over our head and believe me if they could, they would just to say: “we responded oh people, you saw the jets defending! didn’t ya?!” this amount of evilness and lack of care for anything is vividly present in every aspect of our negative IQ gov. Personally I wasnt really worried they didnt want to hit civs, I believe we generally knew they didnt have a beef with us people.

I actually enjoy playing Israel. They have the best versions of the A-4 since the US A-4M isn’t in the US tech tree. I also enjoy playing the Kfir c.10 and I’m looking forward to both the F-16D Barak and F-16I Sufa. I like the derby missile better than the aim 120. Can’t wait to try the F-16 with the derby…

They literally decided to add Greece because it was easier and cheaper for them due to the copy/paste process, and because that way they would have top-tier vehicles, Rafales, etc. The geographical proximity and ties were just an excuse they pulled out of thin air to make it all seem plausible, because nobody asked for Greece for Israel until Gaijin publicly announced it. If they were so concerned about top-tier vehicles, they should have added Chile along with Greece. That way, they would have had the best candidate, which was Chile, due to the number of vehicles related to Israel, and they would have also obtained top-tier vehicles with Greece.
