Greece/Cypress Rafale CF3

Being an ‘upgrader’ typically shows stronger relations than the exporter, and this has historically been the case with india, latin america, some eastern asian countries and so on, this is relevant in war thunder because Greece for example, has had a history of Israeli upgraded vehicles alongside Israeki systems, emphasised with the Purchase of SPIKE, SPICE, PULS & Barak MX instead of equivalent US or French systems.

If your argument that Greece has no military ties to Israel is true, then why would they be replacing key military & strategic assets with Israeli products? Doesn’t exactly scream bad relations.

Not going to address the joke, because even if it’s common, it still has political and generally negative implications to the conversation, implications best avoided.

Does “a common meme” make the impact less anti-Jewish? This goes for all words like this. Intent matters the most. You intended to be disrespectful on a forum about Military Vehicles by bringing up the country of Origin in a negative, stereotypical light. I refrained from calling you Anti-Semitic, despite the actual evidence against you.

Obligatory reply cause you think you’re a victim after violating Forum rules time and time again on forum behavior.

This could literally go for all subtrees. They’re independent countries.

They already have sub-trees and significantly more vehicles than Israel.

They don’t need it. You’re fussing purely because it is Israel. That’s the issue here. If this was literally any other country recieving Greece, you would not give a shit.

That is the problem.

Because they both have access to, or lack the need for Greek operated vehicles.
For example: Germany already possesses a domestic variant of the 2A6hel in the form of the 2A6EX, which could just as easily be added

France possesses both the Mirage, Rafale and F-16, the 3 cornerstones of the hellenic airforce, so logically it wouldn’t go there.

thats why greece has been buying german tanks and french planes for around the past 60-70 years

buying major weapons systems MBT / fighters screems even better relations

having a a contract of multiple hundreds of millions is way stronger than buying upgrades for old vehicles to increase their service live

both the TAM and the Marder are outdated

yes i would because greece could be its own tech tree which would be a way better option than only adding a handful of vehicles somewhere as a sub tree, just so that most of their stuff will never be added

Does Israel offer an export equivalent to the Leopard 2 or Mirage/Rafale… No
Moot point.

So export vehicles over the last ‘60-70’ years are relevant, but not the TAM 2, which is still in service with argentina today?

Anything but giving Israel a subtree 💀

Guys guys Greece should clearly go to Germany because Germany has given Greek Government Billions of Euros so that means Greek belongs to Germany obviously so Germany deserves this

Greece should go the IMF bro clearly

think what you want

if you really think that relegating a nation as a sub tree just so that most of their cool stuff will never be added then idk what to tell you

What is a suitable alternative to Greece, please offer one that would provide a 4.5 generation jet alongside 2 strong supporting 4th gens
Alongside a plethora of light vehicles and SPAA

Ahhh right, singapore, which has already been carved up by gaijin to suit anyone’s needs

Israel should get Iran subtree

I wonder why Greece would buy planes from an exporting European country over a nation in the Middle East buying from those countries as well.

Almost like Israel didn’t export Jets 70 years ago for a reason.

Buying a proven platform doesn’t imply good relations. As an extreme example, Turkey bought Sabra derivatives from Israel. The fact that Greece is leaning more and more into Israeli weapon systems, just like Europe is, implies really good relations right now.

And once again, France and Germany do NOT need Greece.

Did you not look at the links I sent on how modern Greek purchases are almost all Israeli? They look to Israel for new vehicles/systems and have them upgrade their old ones.

How is this relevant? Export upgrades to old vehicles aren’t uncommon. Take the 120S, for example.

It can’t. Unlike Israel, which is the sole superpower of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Greece is not a producer of vehicles. They purely rely on the exported supply they buy.

Israel makes their own vehicles. Even at the start, they were making their own, even if it was already on the basis of another chassis.

If Greece only offers a “handful of vehicles”, how do you think they can be their own Tech Tree? You’re contradicting yourself.

lmao

It should be just in Israel.

single nation mains have to be the most insufferable kind of ppl

wah wah my nation dosent have anything competitive for a few updates, quick we need this sub tree so we can have a copy pasted vehicle that is strong rn

its what the german mains did when they were stuck with the F-4F ICE
its what chinese mains did and are still doing
its what the brits did before they got the gripen

and the list goes on

We should group them all also add Syria to this aswell

I play literally everything besides america wtf are you smoking?

I am concerned because out of the various air trees I have, Israel is the one with by far the weakest future

Same applies for ground.

And sure I can go and play my other nations, and I do, however I’d like to be able to load up the game and enjoy all of them, not have to neglect any single one because they have been neglected.

i didnt say that it only has a handful of vehicles i said that IF it is added as a subtree that ONLY a HANDFUL of vehicles will be added

did i say you specifically

Saying Germany was stuck With F-4F ICE is a wild statement that plane should have been added way earlier
