So this is happening every single time ever since the recent update. (1.64?) And i cant stop it. How do i fix it?
The screenshot/video is essential here because “graphics quality is not working” can mean the preset will not save, textures remain low resolution, or the client is forcing a compatibility mode. Those have different causes.
First note the selected renderer, resolution, texture quality and available VRAM. Apply one obvious setting at a time, restart the client and check whether the menu value itself reverts. If it does, verify that the game configuration is writable and that cloud sync or an optimizer is not restoring it. If the value remains high but visuals stay low, capture the launcher warning, graphics menu and an in-game scene, then attach a fresh .clog and hardware/driver details. Please avoid repeatedly editing config.blk until the failure mode is identified, because that can hide the original cause.
