Recently I’ve looked through some YoooToob videos suggesting improvements to graphics quality, obviously with the intent that I see my opponents better. For the most part this is improved but referring to the headline: the sand (maps such as American desert, Sinai, etc) is way, way too bright and adds a bit of glare that partially obscures or washes out targets, and is otherwise very distracting. So my question is, how do I reduce that while leaving in place at least most of the visual improvements I’ve made? What graphic control options to adjust some measure of contrast? Thanks in advance.
Lower gamma? There is a selector available under options, named Gamma corrrection. Turn that down (I have mine set to zero).
Under Options/Post FX settings - try turning Dynamic Lut ON. If it that doesn’t help turn it OFF. I have color correction set to OFF and Tone mapping to DEFAULT.

Thanks for the response! The tone mapping did the trick. Much better now!
For darker maps you can turn up the gamma to see better.
