For some time now, strange effects have started to appear in graphics. Everything becomes bright, shiny like in an atomic explosion. Usually after a few minutes everything returns to normal, graphics gradually change to normal. Is this “supposed to be like this” or is it some kind of bug?
Linux Mint 23
Kernel 6.8
AMD RX 7700 XT
Mesa 24.1.5
A patch has been released to fix this bug. The problem is that nothing has been fixed. The same graphics issues still occur, and a new one has been added, flashing brightness with the same graphics as in the screenshots, but lasting a fraction of a second (a few frames).
Making sure to provide all required files and information. So a screenshot of the issue created by the game using the key bound to the “Screenshot” function, A .clog file from a session in which this issue happen, A link to the server replay of the match this happened in and your full system information from the inxi -F command.
The screenshot, .clog file and replay all need to be from the same session as well.
No. This is the same bug. Easy to reproduce. All you need is a Linux computer with graphics on RNDA 3. Beta tests are paid, I don’t intend to do (again) for a free tester. I provide information and I think that’s enough to motivate additional testing and debugging. Greetings from Poland.
Yes I know this is the same bug, However the the Devs do need fresh files/info if the issue is still happening after a fix has already been implemented. Also so far I would not call this issue “Easy to reproduce”, It doesn’t happen every match, It doesn’t happen at a specific time or after a specific action either.
Unless you know of a 100% guaranteed way of reproducing this issue? That isn’t just play the game and wait for it to happen.
