Since November Ive been having some problems with GPU power consuming and load.
For experiment I locked FPS to 60, set Max graphics with DLSS 4 Native/TAA (no difference) without SSAA and RT. GRB.
Under normal conditions GPU load keeps within the limits of 40-60% with 80-90W power.
But randomly it can start loading 99% with the same consumption and FPS dropping (sometimes alot).
Then I UN-locking FPS to max.
Aaand… nothing changes. Still 99%, same FPS (no rising) and power consuming.
The way out: GPU randomly start using more power or restart the game.
Specs:
2K Monitor
i3-12100f (in-game load around 40-50%)
32Gb DDR5 6000MHz
RTX 5060 Ti 8Gb (VRAM consuming at max settings - ~7Gb)
SSD Samsung M.2 980 500Gb
This happening only in WT. Other games dont have this issue.
In Furmark GPU using all power stable - 180W.
Does someone else have this problem?
On my system, GPU utilization is higher in the hangar than in actual battles — approximately 90% in the hangar versus 50–70% in-game.

Yup. And it happens with all GPUs AFAIK. I had 3070, now i have 5080 and game can just randomly lock itself in 10-15 FPS while usually running at 300+ with 100% GPU utilization and extremely low CPU usage.
This thing has been an issue for a year already(basically since they implemented DX12).
Usually this happens on DX12 only, but i had some of my friends complaining about this on DX11 recently too.
It’s also kinda funny because it can happen not in every camera mode. For example i can have stable 300 FPS in 3rd view but 10 FPS in scope.

Sometimes during battles, the GPU goes from 80% utilization to 100% utilization for no reason at all, and FPS starts dropping hard. Happens a lot when I make a tree fall, and that I’m very close of it. But sometimes it happens in random places as well.
Also, the GPU goes 100% utilization when I look at the new building made in the hangar, for premium vehicles.
