GPR-AB-T (HE-TF) purpose with the Jaguar

Hello guys, does any of you got access to a video of the GPR AB T being used agains’t aircraft i wonder if it’s not supposed to be a programable ammo like AHEAD rounds, could any of you guys try it for me i dont have the Jaguar unlocked rn.

To check out if it’s just an anti infantry round or may be used as an anti air round.

You mean in game right?

if you’re asking if the High explosive Time fused round is programmable then yes that’s why it’s HE-TF

AHEAD is something else tho

The general purpose ammo is confusing to me since the AHEAD type ammo is just as good at anti-air but also has much higher pen.

I believe AHEAD is a directional blast that throws out a forward facing cone on sub-projectiles, so its more focused than a regular HE shell

Correct, but do they actually perform any differently in game? Feels about the same as using any other proxy fuzed ammo.

From what I have heard it dose less damage if it detonates to the sides of a plane/ heli rather than in front of it I haven’t got anything with AHEAD to test it.
But I was talking to one of the suggestion Mods the other day about directional warheads and he said they do have them modeled in game, just not variable direction ones, so properly modeled AHEAD is possible.

They do

First off if you don’t laser range a ground target the AHEAD round will first pen then explode. Secondly the pellets will go in only one direction instead of all around like on the regular time fuzed HE
