I am submitting a formal request for a Goodwill Exception regarding the T-20 Premium Tank purchased on my old PlayStation-linked account (hooked_osprey1). I’m only posting this after all private support avenues have been exhausted, including a full appeal reviewed by a Senior Support Specialist.
I purchased the T-20 Premium Tank for 5,000 Golden Eagles, which was my only major GE investment. It was also the main vehicle I relied on for steady progress in the U.S. ground forces tree, and it was heavily used to grind Silver Lions across the game. Unfortunately, the tank is now permanently lost because the linked PSN account was banned due to PlayStation’s platform-side grief reporting, not any War Thunder Terms of Service violation. The account is completely inaccessible, and I cannot retrieve the item through any normal method.
Both my old account (hooked_osprey1) and my current account (DaMeat26) are verified under the same confirmed email address, confirming I am the sole, legitimate owner. The old account had roughly 400 hours played, and my new account has over 300 hours so far. Proof of purchase and verification were already provided within the support ticket chain.
I did attempt to appeal the PSN ban, but Sony confirmed the appeal window had expired. I was unaware their appeal period was only six months, and by the time I contacted them, the threshold had already passed. As a result, the account is permanently inaccessible, and no further recovery is possible through PlayStation.
Support agents and a Senior Support Specialist reviewed my case but stated they were bound by policy (Store Policy §8.1 – non-transferable items). They explained that no exceptions could be made. Ticket Reference: #3223476
I fully understand and respect Gaijin’s policies, but this situation is unique. The loss was caused by an external, non-War Thunder platform action — not by any misconduct or violation on my part. I am simply requesting a one-time goodwill restoration or compensation of the T-20 Premium Tank to my current account (DaMeat26). The cost of this single premium item is small, but the goodwill and fairness it would represent would mean a lot to a long-time, dedicated player.
If needed, I can provide screenshots showing the T-20 under my old account and the verified email linking both accounts for additional confirmation.
