For the same nation, but I don’t know which one yet, and which vehicles!
The nations I have already removed are USSR (I finished grinding the air tree, already got ground and air high tier premiums), sweden and israel. I also already have the premium F-4S, so I’m not really interested in buying anything for the US.

I thought maybe I’d give it a try with Germany? Or maybe China?
I look forward to your recommendations!

For Germany, assuming you plan to have the highest possible premiums, I do not recommend the Tornado or Su-22. The MiG-21 is better for grinding. The Swiss F/A-18C is a good premium, but I do not recommend jumping into the highest possible bracket if you’re inexperienced.

As for tank premiums, I believe the Leopard 2A4 Panzer Battalion is a better buy than the Leopard 2A4M due to the matchmaker, and it’s easier to learn the game when you don’t see 12.7 uptiers.

G.91 R/4 is an excellent aircraft in both air and ground battles, and the Turm is straight OP. The two make for a great lineup.
For lower tier the 190A5/U14 is basically just the A5/U2 without bombs so it’s pretty great asa fighter though not useful in ground battles. As for tanks the T-34 (r) or KV-1(r) are both rather good for their BRs.

My two cents:

Since youre clearly talking about high tier premiums, for ground, you have two options - Leopard 2 Pzbtl 123 and Leopard 2A4M.

Pzbtl 123 is the objectively better choice here:

  • at 10.7 it wont see top tier CAS and tanks like BVM and the uparmored swedish 2A5s; those tanks you can see can be disabled.
  • 10.7/10.3 lineup is incredibly stacked with vehicles - another TT Leopard 2A4, Vilkas, PUMA, OSA, Strela, Boxer MGS, F-4F late with mavericks for CAS; unlike the 2A4M which doesnt have a proper lineup. Only thing you wont have is functional helicopter.
  • the armor is relatively better on Pzbtl123; while the turret wedges invite some comparison with Leopard 2PL and 2A5/6, the armor package was meant to be used in Afghanistan and offers little protection against kinetic shells. Underneath it its the same 2A4 armor, just now facing higher performance shells.

As for air:

  • Tornado and Su-22 are meh. Every dedicated fighter will meme on them, and you will compete with six other guys trying to zomb. Su-22 has theoretically some use as CAS on ground battles, but at BR of 11.0, you dont have any lineup whatsoever and in full uptier you will be put into games with the next generation AA systems. Good luck dodging Aster-30 with SPO-15 as your RWR.
  • Lazur-M is more interesting choice. Ive played the TT 21bis SAU but aside different CMs im not aware of any differences. Now that it doesnt see F-16s every other battle (as was the case relatively not so long ago), its fun to play. Combo of R-13s and all-aspect R-60s makes for interesting kit relatively to BR, and the flight performance is nothing to scoof at. Meming on isolated planes is always extremely funny.
  • the swiss hornet is also interesting. Ive got the 18C early but the differences are minor. 7Ps are the best sparrows in the game and unlike 7F/Ms dont go on their own adventure instead of going for locked target, at least not that often and if they do, DL+IOG tardwrangles them into submission. Hornets are relatively slower planes, but they make up for it by being extremely manueverable. On top of that, you can use the swiss hornet in GRB as CAS once you reach the top tier, as with the TT counterpart, theyre the only german planes with both TGP and FnF munitions.

You won’t play better. You won’t win more matches. You won’t have more fun.
The only thing you will do - is waste your money and be frustrated.
What you should do - and I’m sure you already know this - is buy premium time.

Just buy something useful in your life that you actually need, maybe get a nice meal, donate to charity or buy a little present for your parents or someone you love .
It will be far better than spending it on digital nothingness that can be removed or nerfed to uselessness at the whims of a capricious master.

I’ve taken all the posts here into account and read them all carefully, and thanks everyone for the advices really, and I have to say this is the one I’m going to follow!

I bought the Mig-23ML which was completely nerfed after it, and this is exactly the kind of thing I fear. So I guess i’ll buy something other than War Thunder stuff this year, or i’ll wait for the game to be fixed/updated with new game modes or whatever. Thanks!

If you want OP premiums, i recommend the Turm 3 if you play ground however for air the swiss hornet is the best 12.7 premium hornet because of the engines. Mig 23 ML is great if you want to basically be AFK and make a lot of SL in ways the Wyvern botters a few years ago could only dream of

China you might as well be playing USSR as all the vehicles are the same from mid tier up

A good decision in my opinion. I have spent money on packs and premium vehicles and to be honest it was wasted money it made no difference to any aspect of the game whatsoever.
At the present time the game is too broken in too many aspects to be worth spending ant hard earned money on and the gaming experience is dismal and unenjoyable at best.
